Found this hidden gem thanks to the great reviews I read. Very homey and super friendly staff! Fresh cucumber infused water. Good old fashion homestyle breakfast we had. Thier special house sauce is a must! We ate our breakfast with I � Lucy playing in the background. A definite must!
Stopped for lunch today and so happy I did because the food was delicious!! I had the Green Chili Special that came with choice of flour or corn tortillas, beans with white grated cheese and rice. Everything was so flavorful and generous portions too!! Friendly and attentive staff!! My waitress/server was Adriana and she is such a nice person to talk to. Will definitely come back and try other goodies on the menu=) Highly recommend!
Checked out this little spot this morning and love it. Will definitely be back. Love the food, service, and the screening of retro TV. Ate breakfast this morning with my husband, on our anniversary, watching Lucille Ball - it's clearly going to be a great day and this place set it off in a great mood! ❤️😍😋
I drive by this place all the time and always wanted to stop in but never did. I saw some new signage and really liked it so decided to get lunch here, and man I'm glad I did. I got the fried egg burger and it was delicious. The fries were like steak fries with skin still on them and they were flavorful and fried to perfection. The burger was seasoned well and cooked just right. I'll be coming back here and spreading the word.

Omg I live less the 5 mins from this place and never been until today and it was amazing!!! The staff was great, the ambiance was better and the food was completely amazing. This is the first spot that I’ve seen on TikTok and will actually say it’s a hidden gem. We had the Bacon.Lettuce.Tomato.Avocado, the green chilaquiles and a waffle with strawberries, bananas and nutella. Yuuummyyy!! They are only open M-F 8-2 but it’s so worth it if you take a ditch day like me. Next time you’re near 19th Ave & Buckeye, stop at Diner50!!!
Love this place!! They have the best country fried steak I've ever had. They do sausage gravy instead of just country gravy and it's amazing!! I would gain 100lbs if I ate there more often, but it'd be worth it!! The owner is the nicest, most friendly woman you'll ever meet. Definitely give this place a try for breakfast. You won't be disappointed.
Love coming here for lunch on work days. There’s only one waitress but she’s a joy. Plus she remembers my order and knows exactly how I like my coffee. Not too many places like this left. But apparently they are closed every day but Friday now. I hope this is just temporary.
I had been to Diner 50 before and I wasn't impressed. I hadn't returned in a long time but am I glad I did!!! They totally revamped their menu! I have to say, if you have not tried them or plan on visiting, you have to try the chilaquiles! SERIOUSLY!!! My friend tried the biscuits and gravy and those too were so good!!! I went back the next day with my partner and I tried the chicken strips and fries, buffalo option. The sauce was so tasty...not too spicy but had a nice kick. And the fries! I don't usually eat them all but these I did! My partner had the chilaquiles and I was glad he was able to try them! I did pick some off of his plate though!🤭 This place will not disappoint and I'm definitely going back to try more menu items!
I had the Green Chilaquiles , added steak and avocado. The food was AMAZING. I recommend it and it will not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and service was great.
