The Golden Wok

First time here. Great food and large portions. We had the Pork Sun Devil, Sweet and Sour Shrimp, Szechuan Spicy Beef and Chicken with Veggies. More than plenty for four of us. Very flavorful. The sun devil had jalapenos, but not so much that you can't enjoy the flavor. The shrimp were big and not over cooked like a lot of places. The Szechuan beef was amazing, the sauce was perfect and the heat sneaks up on you but again, not so much that you can't enjoy it. The chicken and vegetables were delicious, cooked to perfectly, the veggies had a snap to them so not over done like some restaurants. The place was dead but the take out and Ubereats delivery were booming! We will definitely be back. Great job to the crew. UPDATE: Great food. Love the sun devil pork. Jalapenos and pork with onions and peppers. Delicious. The pepper beef is great too. Lots of red and green bell peppers with onions. They should do something about the door. The door on the right is locked or stuck. There is a sign but not something anyone reads. Anyway, great food, fast service and quiet, easy to have a conversation. Good ambiance.

Absolutely our go-to take out Chinese place now. We had moved to the area and we’re looking for our spot and decided to give Golden Wok a try. After taking one bite of the orange chicken, I instantly knew. It’s absolutely delicious, easily the best I’ve had. Prices are great, staff are awesome, and the food is always ready right away. Love you Golden Wok!

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant by far. The food is always delicious and crunchy (if it’s supposed to be), the staff is always friendly, and they deserve many more patrons than they get! It’s nearly always empty in there when we go and it’s a travesty. Please go here so I can keep eating this food 🤤

Friendly and great customer service at this location. We ordered egg fried rice, honey walnut shrimp, and Mongolian beef. All three dishes were great! The shrimp had a little too much mayo but love the crispness and how big the shrimps were. The Mongolian beef was very tender and love the sauce it is in. It definitely went well with the egg fried rice. I wish the portions were larger as it was for sharing. However, it was enough for two people for three dishes we ordered. I love the ambience and the decor of the restaurant. Nice quiet place to dine as a family or on a date. I recommend checking the place out if you are in the Paradise Valley neighborhood. Overall, 4 stars for me due to the portion size for the price.

Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised! The food was beyond excellent. The large portions for the lunch combos, the large size/quantity of shrimp in the fried rice, as well as the shrimp egg rolls were all of such good quality. I can see why the prices are just a bit higher than other similar restaurants.
