The service was great, with our party being rather large. They handled it really well. Food was cooked to order as ordered and was really good. Ordered a sirloin steak and eggs, but got a flank steak. But it was cooked well and was rather tasty. So no complaints there. Our party seemed rather pleased with the food. I would recommend checking this place out. I plan on a returning visit in the near future.

A real vintage treat! This dinner has been around for about 30 years as far as I know, and the owner has been working hard to keep it running! It has an old-school diner feel to it, with plenty of spacing for larger events and gatherings. The food was great, the burrito was awesome and the hash browns were tasty too. The pancake very fluffy but just a bit chewier than I enjoy. The French toast had great flavor and the presentation was very classy. Chicken fried steak was great, not too soggy or mushy. All in all a good spot to bring your family on a Saturday or Sunday morning for a nice relaxed start to the day!

My tamale was very dry. But the frijoles were AMAZING ! OMG so good. I would go back just for the beans. My friend wasn't happy the bacon bits had chopped up onions.

This is a hidden gem indeed! The food was hot, fresh, and delicious. The pancake was the size of a hubcap and very tasty. It's an open kitchen, so you can see your food being prepared fresh. Our waitress Placida was charming and pleasant, watching to see if anything was needed from across the room. All the staff was very welcoming and genuinely happy to be helping. John, the owner, introduced himself and gave us some history on the property. He is proud of his business and it shows. Most definitely will be back and I encourage all to give this Cafe a try.

This was a hidden gem. We went on Saturday morning. It wasn't busy. The waitress was really nice. The food was good and fairly priced. I highly recommend that if you're looking for a quiet place to enjoy breakfast and not one of those noisy lousy chain food places.

Ive heard of this place for a long time and me and my family finally decided to try it out. We loved it. We liked the "old fahion diner" feel. It felt like family and everything we got tasted as if they made it at home. The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. It's definitely a hidden gem and people that go there look like consistent locals. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it was a tad bit expensive and the tip was included in the bill but other than that I would definitely rank this place as one of my top 3 breakfast places!

This little jewel of a restaurant, well off the beaten path, was very well worth the extra couple miles. This Texas Breakfast Burrito was the size of my forearm and I couldn’t even eat half of it. PS…..pretty good coffee too! Highly recommend anyone in the Phoenix area checking this place out!

If you like home style cooking this is the place for you. It's all good, nothing too special but it'll hit the spot if you're hungry. The wait staff is very friendly and helpful. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he's a delightful man and honestly I'd go back just to talk with him haha. It's a small place but doesn't feel cramped. And I appreciate the bathroom area having a door to separate that area from the restaurant. All in all, it's a good experience

Food cooked decently, I would recommend checking the receipt before checking out. All and all I enjoyed this old country style vibe, delicious food and customer service. Note: I ordered the “hearty breakfast with toast.” Bacon cooked to perfection, hash browns weren’t cooked to my liking but it’s a preference thing. Asked for the eggs to be cooked sunny side up. That they were. Could have been cooked a little longer but still good. For drinks I ordered orange juice and coffee. Both were good and coffee wasn’t watered down like u often see. - I had someone with me and they asked for a drink 50/50 orange juice and cranberry juice. They served only the cranberry juice. Owners of this establishment are Texans and so the vibe was meant to match Texas style food. Most of the food will tend to be bland but decent.

A family owned business with GREAT service! You will look at it and think you can’t eat there, but it’s a little hole in the wall kind of place, though very clean. The owner John always sits in the back of the restaurant and greets EVERYONE that comes in, while his wife is generally sitting at the front talking to guests and checking people checks out. It’s in an industrial area, but the best food and large portions.
