Inside a restored gas station is a really, really good bagel shop. Their pastrami on a sesame bagel is perfect- the cheese, the meat, it’s all perfectly seasoned and so good. My wife loved her ham bagel sandwich and my six-year-old daughter couldn’t stop talking about her plain bagel with cream cheese.
Their coffee is also great with many different kinds and flavors. The iced cinnamon latte was refreshing!
Service is quick and kind!
Absolutely LOVE this coffee shop! It has the best oatmilk! Most places it's really gritty or just plain gross! But I adore the lattes here! I've also tried a breakfast bagel and it was so GOOD! they even have a drive-through if you can't make it in.
This was my first visit to Copper Star Coffee and I think they won my loyalty. They have great customer service, great coffee, and great desserts.
I explained that this was my first visit and asked which coffees they recommend. The person taking my order recommended some things that I didn't see on the menu, and I chose one that starts with a 'C'... I wish I could remember what it was because it was so incredibly delicious. I ordered it with half sugar and oat milk. As soon as I tasted it, I wished I had ordered a large.
The guy at the register also gave me a free pastry item because it was my first time. They have vegan and gluten free options available. Everything looked so good; it was hard to decide. I ended up with a brownie, which was delicious.
Very chill, and in cute area. They have seating outside and inside. It was busy when I went but it moved pretty quickly and efficiently. Coffee and bagel were delicious. Would definitely come back for more.
After a long flight and an even longer night woke up this morning to no coffee pot in my Airbnb. We found this wonderful Gem of a place that completely changed our morning around! Evan made the experience even better with his warm vibrant and friendly personality!
Pretty cool little historic/hip coffee shop in Phoenix that used to be an old service station. Lots of options for coffee, food, and has a nice little area outside to sit.
My Peanut butter latte was good. :)
I took a trip to Phoenix recently and wanted to try some local coffee on my way out of town. This place was near my hotel and had good reviews so I checked it out, and I'm so glad I did! I got a white chocolate and cinnamon latte and it was absolutely delicious! Copper Star Coffee will definitely be a stop every time I'm in town from now on!
In a cultural desert there is an
Oasis of brew. Yes the chains
are prominent but if you prefer
‘Personal’ than this is your spot.
What was once a gas stop has
Turned to a coffee must stop.
Drive thru or Order in the
experience is unique.
From Architecture to Art even
The chairs scream coffee.
And a good one at that.
What first began as curiosity
Quickly became habit.
Brisk Arizona mornings need
the warmth of human beings
and hot brew. Always welcoming
The staff is attentive yet local,
Or seemingly so since no one
Is ‘local’ in Phoenix.
Let’s talk coffee. Strong brewed
Yet smooth and piping hot it’s
Everything you need to begin
your day. Balanced not Burnt.
If I lived in this melrose district
They would ‘tire’ of seeing me
As I would be a ‘Regular’
And I think that is the Greatest
Compliment for Any Business.
Like Arnold said ‘I’ll Be Back’
sans Terminator. )
This is my go-to coffee shop! The coffee, baked goods, & bagels are always amazing! Staff are super friendly and the vibe is very welcoming. I come here at least a couple of times a month. This place is a must stop if you’re in the Melrose area.
This coffee shop is in an old auto mechanic garage. I grew up down the street from it and I remember the auto shop better than the coffee shop. But I've gone here twice now and the employees are always nice and it's kind of hipster kind of new. The food is okay and the drinks are pretty good. The parking is a little difficult but it's a fun place to meet friends or a date and it's definitely something interesting. It's worth going and checking out.
