Canyon 49 Grill

I am a GCU student and also I have a very passionate desire for food. Today on Saturday September 10, 2022, I went to Canyon 49 and ordered 3 three things, Salmon, Caesar salad, and a BLT. All three were very delicious, but one meal that made my expectation go higher then what it originally was is the Blackened salmon. It was perfectly seasoned, had a good amount of rice on the side, had a very nice texture and presentation to it, and was very gentle on how spicy it was. I would also include that fact that it also very easy to chew, and wasn't under or over cooked. Do recommend this again and a fantastic job to the chef that made this meal. 10/10. Will be coming back again soon.

We were looking for a new place nearby and the reviews and pictures looked good so we decided to check it out. Didn't realize it was on the GCC campus at the hotel there. Parking was easy, staff was super friendly, prices are good, and the food was also good. We had the green chili pork quesadilla and it was surprisingly large and very good. We also ordered the margherita pizza and the toppings were good but the crust was one of those off the shelf kind of things. Overall, very nice space, good service and a great value. I just stopped in to support the GCU community and to my surprise the pizza and nacho were really great. I really didn't expect that. This place is ran by students! Really nice atmosphere... the place is really nice , great meals !!! This will be my new Sunday evening sports bar !!! Great the job GCU.

Good tasting food in a lively atmosphere. There is music playing at a soft volume with many conversations going on around you. I had the chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. The serving size is just right for a big appetite. You may have left overs to take as well. The sauce is creamy and not too watery. It is combined with rotini pasta. This noodle captures the perfect amount of sauce in each bite.

Sat at the bar and watched a TV game after watching a men's volleyball match. Place was very nice and new looking. The students working the bar and serving were really great, efficient and personable. Really enjoyed the outing. Would recommend as an after game place to eat and chat. Food was good and the setting very nice.
