We tried coming here for Father’s Day but they sold out early and were closed when we got there. Decided to try again today and I’m so glad I did! Loved: - I love sides so I was very happy to see that the sides were large. - the pulled pork was the perfect mixture of fat and lean - the coleslaw was perfect. Crunchy with just a little dressing - I absolutely love cornbread so I was very happy to see the corn bread muffin that comes with a plate - the brisket 🤤 Wasn’t the biggest fan of (but won’t deter me from coming back ) - the mac and cheese was very creamy but not very cheesy. Based on the reviews many people love creamy Mac and cheese. I’m more of a cheese gal so I just added some when I got home - the default bbq sauce given was not my favorite. Not sure what other options they have and this one wasn’t bad; just won’t be my go to - like any good mom and pop bbq place; the AC system is not powerful enough to beat the heat coming from the kitchen. That plus our 100°+ weather means the store is hot. Definitely plan on getting it to go if you arent okay with being a little warm

I got a pulled pork plate. Very generous portion. You get 1 side item and they let you split it into 2 half sides. The beans and the slaw were both delicious. Corn bread was really good. Not that kind that taste real sweet like cake. This place is a real value and now one of my fav's. Also loved the music.

This place was delicious! The workers were pleasant and wearing masks, although, I do not wear one so I could care less if they’re wearing a mask. (Nurse with the 1 star review - you seem like a very unhappy person and I’m sure they’re happy to never see you return!). Service was fast and ordering was very straightforward. The patio is dog friendly too! Thanks for the tasty BBQ. I’ll be returning! 🤤

Great bbq and sides! Atmosphere could use some help, but who goes to a BBQ place for atmosphere, other than that unmistakable smokey aroma? Don't miss the bbq beans, as tasty as any I've had!

Killer BBQ. The staff is very friendly and took our oder to go and got it ready quickly. We git the #2 family meal, and it fed 5 people with plenty left for lunch tomorrow. Don't wait too late in the day; they might run out as it gets later. The ri s were my favorite! We'll be back again soon for more!

Really enjoyed this place. Small area, not a lot of seating but the food is good. Went with a few friends and we ordered all the sides and sampled them, my personal favorites with potatoe salad and fries. The sandwiches are messy but flavorful. Overall enjoyed and would revisit.

Variety of great entree options and sides. Owner is super friendly, other staff also have great sense of humor and interactions with customers. Service was prompt, food amazing

Staff here is incredibly kind. My wife and I ate the sliced brisket, fries, and potato salad. Everything was delicious. We will definitely return.

This place is probably one of the best bbq joints in the valley. Not even gassing this. I've been coming here for a year eating brisket combo. Amazing each time, sides and sauce are incredible. Today I experienced something I never experienced at a restaurant. I ordered 2 brisket and 1/4 slab and they ran out of biscuit. The bro with the backwards hat cooking back there had to mention they ran out of brisket. He hooked me up with a full rack ribs instead. I'm not a big rob eater but hungry I take his word that the ribs are their best meat. Hesitant I accepted and upon coming home, I eat the ribs and I'm completely converted to ribs now. The service was beyond incredible especially with their orders being an all time high. 2 people running the place and this has been some of the best bbq I've had, and now I love eating ribs. Thank you... They 2 guys that ran it today did a great jobs despite GrubHub being introduced. 10/10 will always come back here truly a hole in the wall.

We are still talking about the lunch we had at Danky's last week!! It was SO good!! Got the pulled pork and chicken breast. Both were super moist and tasted like MEAT not just fat! It Didn't come smothered in sauce, which was great except that I ended up loving the sauce and used it anyway!! We live far away by Lake Pleasant but are willing to drive to Phoenix to get good quality food. Turns out this was better by far than any of the corporate BBQ places or other places by our house. We really appreciated having a good restraunt expierience and will for SURE be back! Customer service was great, and we could tell both guys working are hard workers, they're very good at multitasking.

Great BBQ! Our party had the Brisket, ribs, and sausage. I had to try all three and they were delicious! Sides of potato salad, fries, and especially the beans were great! Will definitely go back.

Every time we come here, the food is among the best BBQ we've ever had, as good as my own, so I have no problem eating here. The sauces are the best in town, too. Hopefully, they bottle and sell the sauce soon, I'd buy it as we travel 30 plus minutes to get here. Love this place .

The wet brisket was excellent.Lots of bark, tender,moist and flavorful. They only have 1 sauce like a Kansas city style, would like to see more choices there. The mac and cheese side was also very good. This is absolutely worth a try if you love BBW. Nice people also.North Phx is quickly becoming the place for bbq in the valley.

Yum!<br/><br/>The pulled pork was excellent along with the baked beans. Service was superb. Only reason I rated a 4 was indoor temperature. The smoking oven is inside and there is no where for the heat to go.

This was my second visit here. I had the Classic Pork sandwich. I thought that the sauce was too tame for my taste. Will visit again to sample more!

Found this place by chance, and it was incredible. The staff is friendly, and sociable. The food was awesome and their signature BBQ was great. Highly recommend, and wish I lived in Phoenix to try again!
