Carolina's Mexican Food

I came in for Tamales and ordered a Quesadilla with chicken & cheese I got it with cheese only not what I asked for but was still the best I have ever had. Amazing tortillas hand made I watched them make em Fresh like amazing pizza dough. I am coming back even though they got my order wrong it was still amazing🤯 the Tamales are the best in the State fr❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

It has been too many years since the last time I ate at Carolina’s. Their food is just so good. I would say it is quintessential authentic Mexican food. Tonight we shared the mini chimichangas, a cheese quesadilla and chips and salsa. We got a kids meals for the girls. Service was good, it is an order here and pick up there service, pretty straight forward. Casual dining spot with good music in the background.

I've been going to the mojave place since it opened, and this location since it opened. The food is always freshly made and delicious. And there is nothing like the smell of FRESH tortillas! I almost always get the red or green chili burritos and some chips. We just get a bag of chips and take any extra home. My wife gets the machaca burrito or the machaca salad bowl. They get really busy, so there might be more of a wait. But, nothing terrible. It's not fancy. No pinatas or such on the walls, but we go for the great food, not pinatas 🌮

Two words. Loved it!!!!!! The red Chile and green burritos are so damn good you have to finish it up with a SPOON! 😆. The gravy just pours out, once you take a bite. No joke. Messy but oh so delicious. The tortillas are made fresh every day and the salsas. The service was quick and easy. No fuss. No real waiting. Inside, very clean and neat. Carolinas has 4 restaurants in the valley. They have been a long time secret hidden away for 45 years. There reputation as authentic and delicious food is so underrated.

Love, love, love Carolina's. Their food is just so good. I rarely get to this location but have been to the Mohave location at least a couple hundred times. It's old school and it's just good food. Everyone knows about their tortillas, they are awesome. The combo plates are great but I typically just order a couple of burritos. The bean and potato is a classic, the three way is Heavenly. Other favorites are a green mix, the tacos and the enchiladas. I always put a ton of their hot sauce on the burritos and tacos. It's just so good. Just go. You'll enjoy the food.

I love this place! My food is usually delicious and made perfectly. This time, when we got the food at the counter, the person said that my tamale did have green sauce, and it was under there. I was confused. She then said a newish employee over served the red sauce on my enchilada. Everything was swimming in red sauce, and my tamale was drowned. It was even all over the beans. I tasted nothing but enchilada sauce and didn't eat my food. In hindsight, I should have taken it back up. I will definitely be back. This didn't change my opinion of this place, or the normal food, but this meal went straight in the trash. Had she said to look at it, and if it wasn't acceptable and they'd remake it, I would have happily taken it back up. The enchilada sauce is delicious, but it was SOOO much. My husband's good was delicious, as usual.

Carolinas is easily one my favorite Mexican restaurants in the valley. Everything seems to look very tasty, with my meal of choice being the Green Machacca burrito. Getting it double wrapped is a must. Their salsa is simply amazing... My favorite salsa I have ever had.. You do have to be prepared for a bit of a wait though.
