Place was an easy 10/10! Waiter was extremely nice, and funny! The atmosphere was great, and seemed authentic, and the food was an easy A. I got the 3 for $15 tacos, and not only do they have a wide variety, but the food was excellent as well!

Our waitress recommended Chiles en Nogada for lunch and said that it was a very authentic Mexican dish that would not typically be served in a Mexican restaurant. Wow, were we thrilled! The sweetness of some of the ingredients just added the perfect flavors for the dish. Chiles en Nogada (chiles in walnut sauce) has poblano pepper, chicken, queso fresco, apple, pear, dried apricot, golden raisin, walnut, almond cream sauce, pomegranate, cilantro, served with Mexican rice and calabacitas. See the picture posted with this review. Amazing!

Service and food was great as usual. The only issue we had was that we were seated outside the bathrooms even though the restaurant was not full and there were plenty of other tables for two. We could have moved but chose not to but if it happens again we will. Had Happy Hour selections and drinks and were very pleased.

Barrio Queen in Scottsdale is truly a gem for authentic Mexican cuisine. Their carne asada is a mouthwatering masterpiece, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. But what stands out even more is the impeccable service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and makes you feel right at home. A must-visit when in the area!

Love coming here for either a drink with appetizers or a plate of tacos. I love the outdoor seating area. It's open, shaded and practically has no foot traffic from people passing by. If you want a diverse taco selection, go for a shrimp, saudero azteca and al pastor.

DAMN, were those some amazing tacos! Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly, packed with flavor from tortilla to sauce. Cannot recommend more for a nice night out with Mexican food

Great atmosphere, very good service. Food is average. It was my fist visit there and they have many menu items so I would try other items to make a full decision of their food.

Great place. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The salsa was amazing. The fresh made at table side guacamole was fresh! The tacos were excellent. Pulled chicken, steak and shrimp. The enchiladas trio was really good. A nice place with fresh food! @food_from_the_usa

Went here while visiting from New Hampshire. My better half got the shrimp tacos and was extremely impressed. Had more shrimp in it then most tacos from reasturants in NH. Really good food. Drinks were very tasty and the service was great. A really good spot to hit if every in the area!!

CALDO TLALPEÑO soup made with chicken, vegetables, rice, avocado, cilantro, tortilla strips. Superb! My friends also had the tableside prepared guacamole (delicious. Had fresh pomegranate seeds which really livened up the flavor!) Excellent service. Excellent food. Tortillas are fresh and made perfectly. Yes. I will return. Thank you.
