This is a real neighborhood gem that even our pickiest eater can enjoy. In my opinion, the daily lunch specials are the best around in terms of quality and value. The italian food is really good, no matter what you order. The staff is seasoned, been here a long time, and their recommendations are solid. The managers and owners are always helping out and are very friendly. Dinners are excellent and if you stay late they always have great live music. Good bands too. The place is great, treat them well if you stop in. We love em.

Night Shift

I really enjoyed this place. My friend and I started out with the eggplant bruschetta and the crispy calamari. They were very filling and my friend did not order an appetizer she ate a little bit of my entree which was the linguine and clams. That thing came out in a big bowl with lots of broth. Lots of seasoning in that. I also saw on the menu they had fresh pesto sauce. I wanted to try it so I asked for a small cup of it. I put some on my linguine it was pretty good. One of the things that I like to order is iced tea and these guys had some really good tropical iced tea. We ordered desert to go but nibbled before we left. We got the tiramisu and cheesecake with a Berry sauce. Both were good the tiramisu tasted like they made it a little unique and it was very good. Kind of like a tiramisu cake. We sat next to the fish tank with the beautiful fish 🐠🐟. Very nice table.

Great time last night. It appears it has been 2 years since I have been there for dinner and dancing and I have to say the food and service were FANTASTIC! Much improved over my last visit and it didn't hurt that the band was great. It was a great time. My review from 2 years ago starts here: Had a nice dinner. Food was great. Service was okay. Got up and filled my own water, as the waiter brought the bill and didn't fill my empty glass. Service was mediocre the entire time. After dinner went to the bar and enjoyed the live music.

Delicious escargot wrapped in pastry dough...sauce was amazingly delicious too! Yum! ☆☆☆☆☆♡ The Chicken pizza was yummy too! "Outside the Line" band playing..dancing was great! ♡♡♡ very fun night out.

We loved our dinner experience last night. The service was amazing, bread is nice and warm and the wine we ordered was fresh and a good half glass. We both ordered pastas and they did not disappoint. Large portions of hearty goodness. Greatly seasoned and not over cooked. Our first time here and we will be back many times in the future.

Tons of fun! We went the weekend before Halloween. They had a live band, dancing and great food. I’d never been! My friend invited me and people we dressed up and we had a blast. Everything was clean, the restrooms were perfect and inside was dark and inviting. The staff was very nice. The only downside was they closed pretty early.

This place is really nice. The bands on the weekends just kick it up a notch. Not sure if chance or what, but quality of the food was a bit rough this visit, overcooked and lacking some of the flavors from previous visits. Hopefully was just a "bad" day.

We arrived 20 mins before they closed the kitchen and were paitient and guided us trough the menu and wine list. We ordered Penne Salmon and Pollo & Fungi linguine and both were really really good. The hostess and waiter were very nice to us. They make their own pasta, bread and butter.

The most incredible food and staff! They even did the food for my wedding, and it could not have been any more. Perfect! Va Bene is a true gem.

You simply must ask for a MADISON SPECIAL.. Madison creates customized flavors utilizing your favorite liquor without using cheap, muted syrups and mixes. A natural mixologist with the customer's palate being the priority.. Bravo Lady Madison, well done!! 10/10..

I have eaten here a few times, but it had been a while. I ate here again 2 nights ago and was reminded just how amazing the food is. I got the gnocchi in vodka sauce and it was just incredible (I also added chicken). I'm glad I ate here again and will try to return sooner than the last time!

Great atmosphere, great music, nice adult crowd. Food was a good portion and tasted ok. Drinks were ok, Some cosmetics that could be taken care of in the bathrooms and dining room but customer service was nice as well.

We picked Va Bene by chance. We were looking for a place to hole up till the traffic settled down. We chose wisely. The food was excellent. I believe I had the Penne Siciliana which was not a disappointment, it being very delightful in flavor. All of the ingredients to this from-scratch-meal, I like. I had hoped it would not disappoint. It did not. My wife was also very pleased with her selection. I apologize for not being exact in my words. We very much enjoyed Va Bene and we will be back. Regards . . .

We have been to this place on multiple occasions and been lucky enough to be able to try a different dish every time. My husband has severe allergies to common ingredients in Italian Food and every time we have gone here, they have been able to accommodate him and the result has been amazing! All of the dishes I have tried have been spectacular. This is easily the best Italian Restaurant we have been to! Not only is the food absolute perfection, but the service is fantastic. We have been served by multiple waiters who remember us when we return and one who even remembers (most of) my husband's allergies!! A feat by any standards! The kitchen staff does amazing things with food and even managed al dente angel hair pasta! Even the bussers and bartenders are very friendly and attentive. 5 stars does absolutely zero justice to this place, they most definitely deserve a higher rating and many accolades. We highly recommend it for atmosphere, service, delectable food, and you can't beat how reasonable the prices are! If you are thinking of going here, even a little bit, you definitely should!
