Yesterday was our first time going. The food was amazing. Our server was so nice! She went above and beyond for us. The only down side was, they ran out of snow crab, it's not the end of the world just a tad disappointing. I ordered a bloody Mary and it was the BEST blood Mary I have had in Arizona. I would recommend this place to everyone!
It was a wonderful place to celebrate my hubby birthday...... the food was the very best.....we are looking foreword to going back......����
Was there for dinner on Thursday, fun place, great seafood, and spiciness the way you want, fresh food and great service.

Had a great time hanging around eating and drinking at the bar. Beat the crowd by getting there at 5:30 PM on a Saturday evening.
A great break from typical chain restaurants
You will probably love it or hate it, I don't think many will be undecided. They create a memorable experience and if you like Cajun style cooking this is a great place to be! Not many restaurants bring out sharp utensils, bibs and rolls of paper towels before you order and have a sink in the main dining area to clean up when you are done!

Love It!!!. Today was my first of many visits to the Angry Crab. My wife & my parents decided some seafood was in order for tonight. I have heard great things about this place and we decided to give the newer Phoenix location a shot as it isn't far from my parents house. This was a great decision on our part. We arrived about 5:30 on a Saturday and we had to wait about half an hour. It was well worth the wait.
My wife and I ordered the mussels, shrimp, and snow crab with some potatoes, corn, and sausage in the Trifecta spice blend with a medium spice level. Everything was cooked perfectly including the mussels. They were tender and not chewy at all, and the Trifecta spice was AWESOME. The best part though was the snow crab. It really knocked it out of the park for us. They were good size legs with good meat and great flavor. I love good seafood and this place does good seafood. Good seafood is never cheap, but the prices were very reasonable for what you get. The potatoes and corn were also cooked well and not mushy like you get at other places seafood boils. Everything was cooked perfectly.
The only downfall of this place is it is loud, mostly because it is very busy which is understandable with how good the food is.
My advice. Don't wear cloths you care about here. They give you a bib (which is almost a necessity) but even with the bib your potential for clothing related mishaps is high. The meal boil is served in bags and the table is covered in butcher paper. You get a metal bucket for trash, and if you get the boil you will need to have it emptied a couple times between the shells and the copious quantities of napkins you are going to destroy in the process of consuming your boil. Never fear though they have several wash sinks in the dining room for you to clean yourself up with after you get elbow deep in your dinner.
The staff is very good about keeping your trash bucket emptied, and your drinks full. I will be back very soon. Once you have been I bet you will as well.
Goodness in a bag. Wow the shrimp with trifecta sauce. Some corn on the cob and gator nuggets. If you want something with flavor and a little bite this is the place. Service was awesome. Expect to get messy but they do have clean up stations. :p
First time in Arizona, and was recommended by a family member to try this place out. It did not disappoint. Flavor is definitely there, spice level as well, although I suggest starting off at medium/hot.
We had the baked oyster app, shack mixed bag as well as a couple of beers and special cocktail. Costed around $150.
Worth every penny.
Seafood in the desert from a chain restaurant? At first we were skeptical but it was amazing! We got the boil and got soooo much shrimp, lobster, and crab. My kids loved it and the little one even helped crack shells. They give you gloves, bibs, tools - everything you need to feast without getting covered in sauce. Plus at the end they brought out a lobster for us to touch, what a fun extra. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out and ask for Katie!
Great experience. Went by to celebrate and the food was superb as always.
Always fun at an Angry Crab Shack. We've tried at least 4 of these and this location had the freshest fish of all. Much better than the others.

The lobster rolls were superb... pricey ...yet very good.
I must try the soft shell crabs for sure next time.

First time here! Ben was our server, he went above and beyond! 10/10 for him alone! HE MADE THE EXPERIENCE. The food on the other hand was super flavorful, and cooked to perfection! I ALWAYS seem to have issues with seafood boils being over cooked but was not let down in the slightest! Overall would definitely return when in town.
Ordered for the first time and food came delivered fast , hot and delicious . Will order again. I got the catfish basket with red beans and corn, and the Cajun shrimp pasta.
Absolutely love this restaurant, great for family dinners and celebratory events. Came here for my graduation dinner and most recently for my birthday. Favorite angry crab shack in all of Phoenix. Highly recommend to everyone. My go to is head on shrimp, trifecta, mild with sausages, potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs.
Food is very good. They forgot to put my side of rice in bag but it’s cool. Food is 10 out of 10 and I would go back. I feel like the catfish basket should come with 2 piece fish.
The smells from outside bring you in and the atmosphere brought me to the coast with the essence of the sea. The service was a little slow this day but it was also busy. The food came out great and the shrimp was not over cooked. All prices are market price and are not listed so be sure to ask what the prices are. Lots of other selections on the menu to try in the future. Definitely a filling and heavy meal.
