First time in Arizona, and was recommended by a family member to try this place out. It did not disappoint. Flavor is definitely there, spice level as well, although I suggest starting off at medium/hot. We had the baked oyster app, shack mixed bag as well as a couple of beers and special cocktail. Costed around $150. Worth every penny.

Seafood in the desert from a chain restaurant? At first we were skeptical but it was amazing! We got the boil and got soooo much shrimp, lobster, and crab. My kids loved it and the little one even helped crack shells. They give you gloves, bibs, tools - everything you need to feast without getting covered in sauce. Plus at the end they brought out a lobster for us to touch, what a fun extra. Do yourself a favor and come check this place out and ask for Katie!

Always fun at an Angry Crab Shack. We've tried at least 4 of these and this location had the freshest fish of all. Much better than the others.

I think this is the place i visited when stopping at the Phoenix intl a.port... The lobster rolls were superb... pricey ...yet very good. I must try the soft shell crabs for sure next time. Pitty no AZ wines

First time here! Ben was our server, he went above and beyond! 10/10 for him alone! HE MADE THE EXPERIENCE. The food on the other hand was super flavorful, and cooked to perfection! I ALWAYS seem to have issues with seafood boils being over cooked but was not let down in the slightest! Overall would definitely return when in town.

Ordered for the first time and food came delivered fast , hot and delicious . Will order again. I got the catfish basket with red beans and corn, and the Cajun shrimp pasta.

Absolutely love this restaurant, great for family dinners and celebratory events. Came here for my graduation dinner and most recently for my birthday. Favorite angry crab shack in all of Phoenix. Highly recommend to everyone. My go to is head on shrimp, trifecta, mild with sausages, potatoes, corn, and boiled eggs.

Food is very good. They forgot to put my side of rice in bag but it’s cool. Food is 10 out of 10 and I would go back. I feel like the catfish basket should come with 2 piece fish.

The smells from outside bring you in and the atmosphere brought me to the coast with the essence of the sea. The service was a little slow this day but it was also busy. The food came out great and the shrimp was not over cooked. All prices are market price and are not listed so be sure to ask what the prices are. Lots of other selections on the menu to try in the future. Definitely a filling and heavy meal.

I don’t know where to begin with my experience (1st timer) it was deliciously good. The Bartender/Server Katie M was awesome. I told her this was my first time & she help me with a menu selection. Then there’s Will the Maintenance/ Good conversation guy who also made my experience great. I’ll definitely be back. 5 ⭐️

Food was good but cold, the place was not super busy but they told us kitchen was 30 mins, it took about an hour and the food def sat there because the bartender wasnt super attentive. He did not fill our drinks without us asking and had to ask for silverware. Service probably a 2 star food would have been 5 star if it wasnt cold. When leaving we heard the host telling the new people coming in it was going to be a long wait because it was shift change- mind you the place was empty by then… soo

We decided to kick off 2022 with a visit to the Angry Crab Shack home of pick your own spice seafood boils, po'boy sandwiches, lobster rolls, and, of course, crab legs! They have a fun graffiti type of decor with a centralized bar serving craft beers and cocktails. They also have a kid friendly menu, but overall, seafood is pretty expensive. So you order your steamed bags spiced the way you like and dump it on the table, which can get a little messy, thank goodness for the bibs, and gloves! It's a fun place, and the seafood is great. What more could you want besides more paper towels and another beer!

In the mood for seafood so tried close to home Angry Crab. Fun interior where everyone can mark on the walls, family-friendly, reasonably priced & varied menu. Cute descriptions for seafood sauces, etc. (judge for yourself on pic) from "ridiculously hot" to "Me no likey-spicey". Crowded, so we advise you go early. Loud atmosphere but friendly ambiance. Slow service so plan to allow for time to visit when you go. Seafood choices were okay, not spectacular, but as it was modestly priced & casual, no issue for us. Probably won't return anytime soon.

Yesterday was our first time going. The food was amazing. Our server was so nice! She went above and beyond for us. The only down side was, they ran out of snow crab, it's not the end of the world just a tad disappointing. I ordered a bloody Mary and it was the BEST blood Mary I have had in Arizona. I would recommend this place to everyone!

It was a wonderful place to celebrate my hubby birthday...... the food was the very best.....we are looking foreword to going back......����

Went here for the first time and I was not disappointed! My Hawaiian heritage craves seafood (especially anything out of a shell) and my Ghrelin was pleasantly satisfied. Our waiter was phenomenal and the atmosphere was dynamic! We’ll happily be returning soon!

I went there Friday after work, and picked up a pound of shrimp. I wanted the Bourbon Pecan Pie, that is so good but they didn’t have any. So after work I went back and got another pound of shrimp and crab legs, and this time they had my pie I got two slices.

We came here on a recommendation of a server at our hotel. It was awesome. Great service and terrific food.

Love this place! Food is always delicious and the beer is cold. The trifecta sauce is amazing!!!! Always a fun time!

Food and atmosphere great, server forgot to put in part of my order. But still got to eat it the next day, was really good. Love the brisket.

Was there for dinner on Thursday, fun place, great seafood, and spiciness the way you want, fresh food and great service.<br/><br/>Enjoyed our meal and everyone had a good time.

A great break from typical chain restaurants<br/><br/>You will probably love it or hate it, I don't think many will be undecided. They create a memorable experience and if you like Cajun style cooking this is a great place to be! Not many restaurants bring out sharp utensils, bibs and rolls of paper towels before you order and have a sink in the main dining area to clean up when you are done!

Love It!!!. Today was my first of many visits to the Angry Crab. My wife & my parents decided some seafood was in order for tonight. I have heard great things about this place and we decided to give the newer Phoenix location a shot as it isn't far from my parents house. This was a great decision on our part. We arrived about 5:30 on a Saturday and we had to wait about half an hour. It was well worth the wait. <br/><br/>My wife and I ordered the mussels, shrimp, and snow crab with some potatoes, corn, and sausage in the Trifecta spice blend with a medium spice level. Everything was cooked perfectly including the mussels. They were tender and not chewy at all, and the Trifecta spice was AWESOME. The best part though was the snow crab. It really knocked it out of the park for us. They were good size legs with good meat and great flavor. I love good seafood and this place does good seafood. Good seafood is never cheap, but the prices were very reasonable for what you get. The potatoes and corn were also cooked well and not mushy like you get at other places seafood boils. Everything was cooked perfectly. <br/><br/>The only downfall of this place is it is loud, mostly because it is very busy which is understandable with how good the food is. <br/><br/>My advice. Don't wear cloths you care about here. They give you a bib (which is almost a necessity) but even with the bib your potential for clothing related mishaps is high. The meal boil is served in bags and the table is covered in butcher paper. You get a metal bucket for trash, and if you get the boil you will need to have it emptied a couple times between the shells and the copious quantities of napkins you are going to destroy in the process of consuming your boil. Never fear though they have several wash sinks in the dining room for you to clean yourself up with after you get elbow deep in your dinner.<br/><br/>The staff is very good about keeping your trash bucket emptied, and your drinks full. I will be back very soon. Once you have been I bet you will as well.

Goodness in a bag. Wow the shrimp with trifecta sauce. Some corn on the cob and gator nuggets. If you want something with flavor and a little bite this is the place. Service was awesome. Expect to get messy but they do have clean up stations. :p

Looking for a casual and reasonably priced spot to enjoy the splendors of the sea?  This is your place .  A great environment that many of the the better heeled local establishments would love to replicate.  Only complaint is that we wish you'd get more flexibility to mix, match, or resize some of the bags.
