Hands down best Mexican food in the Valley as well as best margaritas!! Everything is made fresh upon ordering! We tried green posole, enchilada dinner, and fish tacos. Will definitely return, everything is spicy!

Delicious food!!! I definitely will be back! The beans are some of the best I've tasted at a restaurant! We got the open face enchilada and chile relleno and added shredsed beef... it comes with a delicious homemade flour tortilla!!! Salsas are delicious as well. The service was great. I'll be back!
They finally have several food options that won't light your face on fire. Service is always amazing. Really fun Halloween decorations. Definitely order the pitcher of Sangrita. My new favorite drink!
I can't say enough about this place. I've been coming to this restaurant since before I lived in Arizona. The family that runs this place is involved and that's great! The place has a great atmosphere that is very inviting and appropriate for the food. I have never had a single dish I didn't completely devour. We have travelled over 30 miles one way just to have their delicious food.
I have tried for many years to convince them to bring their food to Northern Phoenix, but regardless of the location, it's worth the trip!
Best pitcher of margarita I’ve ever had, and one of the top ten authentic Mexican meals I’ve ever had. It was absolutely bursting with flavor! The salsas are obviously made in-house and are nothing like the food service dreck you get at chains. If you want real heat, you come here.
The layout of the establishment is confusing for newcomers, but once you get it, the place is a lot of fun. One thing they could improve on: we had to wait quite a while for our table. That in and of itself is not a problem. No one came over to ask any of us waiting in the wait “hut” if we wanted any drinks. There was a locked cooler of bottled beer and a Dos Equis tap right there, but no one to sell it to us. They could have made a LOT more money from waiting patrons had the hut been staffed, even occasionally.
Still though, I will go out of my way to come back here any time I’m in town, and recommend it to anyone I know traveling here.
Excellent service. My husband loved chimichanga. My street tacos were fresh and delicious, a little too much lettuce. Garlic pork roast was great.
Decoration is cute for Halloween. Could use a little better lighting and update on bench cushions.
Amazing food. This is the flagship store and it’s an excellent reward for a good hike on South Mountain. This is New Mexican style Mexican food so it has good heat and rich flavors. The pork here is my favorite. Slow stewed in a rich chili broth and served with amazing red green chili sauce. You can’t really go wrong here.

We have been to this location a couple of times recently and LOVE it. A lot of the dishes are super spicy and really flavorful. The garlic roast pork and adovado pork are to die for. The margaritas are incredible and the perfect complement to the food. Excellent service, too!
