Review Giuseppe's On 28th - Phoenix

Had a nice meal just after arriving at the airport and a long day of travel. Started with the tomato, olive and avocado salad. Fantastic! Big enough for two to share as an appetizer. Main course of their specialty bolognese with pappardelle pasta. The sauce with seven meats was excellent. The pasta is homemade but mine was over cooked. Would definitely return and recommend.

Greg and I were trying to go to the AZ state fair 9/26/2023, but due to our poor planning, the fair is only open Thursday-Sunday, lol. We then looked up Giuseppe's via Guy Fieri's AZ Triple D's restaurant recommendations. We started off with an appetizer "Suppli di Riso" along with garlic bread our bread was $5.00. OMG, the 3 risotto balls were filled with mozzarella, lightly coated, then fried, resting in a marinara sauce $10.00. For dinner, Greg had the "Italian Mac and Cheese" made with Parmigiano, mozzarella, fontina, prosciutto, cream, and butter baked until golden brown "HOT" $19.00. Absolutely devine. I liked it better than mine, but don't get me wrong, mine was just as delicious! I had the "Bolognese Ragu" homemade tagliatelle with their famous 7 meat ragu $21.00. Their noodles were sooo tender they almost melted in your mouth. Greg drank a Peroni lager $6.00, and I had the Arceno Chianti Classico $8.50. For dessert, we were going to try the Tiramisu but were beat out of the last piece. We ended up trying the "Keylime Mascarpone Tart $7.00. It was ok. I don't think I'd order again.

I enjoyed the lobster ravioli in the browned butter sauce, but found the butter nut squash ravioli a little sweet for my taste. The garlic bread was simple but good. The melanzane was a little over done. Overall things were tasty and the pricing was decent. I would go back

Saw on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. Owner and staff so nice and food delicious. Our group tried appetizers, entrees, and desserts.

The food here is heaven!!! I’ve only had pasta this fresh and this quality in Manhattan or Italy. You can smell the fresh ingredients! I am a regular at Bianco’s Tratto but honestly after coming here, it’s gonna be really hard to choose where to go for a pasta dish. For now I know I’m gonna be a regular here for sure! I also have to say that what makes this place so special is the super friendly service, from the hostess to the waiters to the owner of the restaurant. They make you feel at home. It’s a really small place so if you want to guarantee a table, book in advance or come early. I came here again several times since I wrote this review. Here are pictures of the dishes we ordered. All are heavenly except the key lime pie. I didn’t taste the lime at all. It’s mostly a custard tart.

Their food was fantastic! We had the specials of the day, clams with squid pasta and lobster ravioli. The entire staff was accommodating and beyond friendly. So glad to have chosen Giuseppe’s for dinner.

Absolutely fantastic dining experience! Our server was super friendly and very helpful. The owner was super friendly and made several stops at our table to converse with us. My veal osso buco was the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back!

This place is amazing. Food is amazing. The staff is amazing. Their spaghetti and meatball melt in your mouth. Their lasagna is out of this world! And make sure you try the garlic bread.

We've been long-time customers and LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Guiseppe's! The food is amazing. Richard, the owner, walks around the tables to meet all his adoring customers while Cindy has been on staff longer than I can remember. We celebrate all our big events at Guiseppe's as we love the food and the people feel like family.

Ate there last night, from out of town, cute little place, the smell hits ya when ya walk in the door, you know it going to be good, I had a late lunch so only had a house salad and the Butternut squash ravioli, it was by far the best I have ever eaten, If I lived here, this would surely be one of my favorite place in town. Service was first class. for sure well worth finding if your in town.

The best food you’ll ever eat at an Italian restaurant this side of Italy. We go there every year when we visit from Michigan. They make all there own pasta and desserts. The daily specials are the best way to go but if you go to the menu, their Osso Buco is the best I’ve ever had anywhere including Italy.

Chef boyradee makes better italian food. Ordered lobster ravioli. Came out with some weird tasteless oil stuff. Flat soda lukewarm water and no plating presentation what so ever. Think they're just riding the 3 mins of fame they had on the food channel.

The best traditional Italian restaurant around. The sauces are amazing. The best bolognese ragú you will ever put in your mouth. Amazing Osso buco. And to accompany the dishes freshly made homemade fettuccine (weekends for sure) Homemade that day on site. Their tiramisu is light and heavenly like a cloud of deliciousness. The setting is intimate, super friendly, great service, you are family here.

Cozy little place with really good food. I had the eggplant with homemade pasta, along with a Belgian berry ale. Yummy! They have autographed photos all over the walls. All in all a nice evening.

Popped in for dessert and coffee and were not disappointed. Couldn't make up our minds so we ordered, the Key Lime Pie (to die for!!), the Crème Brulee (OMG! YUM!), a Cannoli ( 3 of us fought for the last piece!) and the Warm Flourless Cake with Gelato (Amazing!). Service was impeccable, the Italian food being served around us looked and smelled so delicious that we decided my next visit to Phoenix, we will be back!

Unbelievably fresh, delicious. Eaten in 5 star restaurants in Italy....this was better. Thank you Cindy. Friday 5/13/16 We had to come back for one last fabulous meal....and maybe Rich will share some of his recipes. Thank you Antonio for entertaining us "captain save our wine". This time we had the eggplant parmigiana, the smoked Scottish salmon, appetizers of buratta, veal meatballs. And the homemade tagliatelle.

We went last Saturday night for our first date night as a married couple and my husbands birthday. I searched online for hours to find the perfect Italian place. We drove an hour to get there and it was worth every second in the car!! We had an amazing dinner and the first time having homemade pasta without all the mess of me doing it myself! From the bottle of wine, antipasto salad, bruschetta, chicken parm, gnocchi, cannoli, key lime tart, and home made Lemmon chello... everything was spot on!!! Already making plans to go back as soon as possible!

One of the best bolognese sauces I've ever had and I lived in NY for 4 years! I can honestly say I was sad when my plate was empty. Very good service and we will go back!
