This place is way food! I had TIA CARLOTTA
$14.95
Green chile corn tamale topped with prepared shredded chicken, American and cream cheeses, and Ranchero salsa. Served with beans and rice. Amazing. I also had a chile relleno, a la carte. I am always skeptical of chile relleno. This was phenomenal! I had breakfast and lunch left over.
Very good margaritas and even better Coronaritas!
Matt, our server, was great. He took care of a table of 9 with ease, or so it looked that way.
This is now my favorite place their steak fajitas are the best I have ever had anywhere. Their service is so polite and attentive, the atmosphere is great and place is beautiful inside very traditional, I specifically love the horse of troyan made with a donkey piñata.
I can tell why this place has been around for a long time! Their tacos are delicious and enjoyed the piñata platter to try a few of their other items. Loved it. They make delicious food!
If chunky salsa is your jam you will love starting with the chips! Skip the queso as the chips are not tasty at all. The portions were so large, pork carnitas could easily be shared by a family. The hard tacos just were not crunchy sadly. All the meat tasted good. Loved the beans and rice. Server was super busy and not too friendly. Could of been a bit better. Ambiance was great.

Our household Luvs Mexican food so when I found this restaurant on my map with great reviews we had to pay a visit.
The outside of the building is deceiving, it's a bit shabby and in need of a face-lift. We were confused as to where the entrance was but after walking all the way around the building we found the entrance at the rear. The outside of the entrance doesn't appear to be inviting but after walking in you're greeted with a blast of warmth like you just stepped into your Nana's house. La Piñata's interior is lovely and it's welcoming decor makes you feel at home. It's an intimate restaurant that's clean, bright, warm and beautifully decorated with splashes of colors. We were greeted by a beautiful hostess who was very friendly and treated us as if we were regulars even though it was our first visit. I'm also happy to report the bathrooms were very well maintained and decorated as well. We were seated at the bar due to the restaurant being quite busy. The bartender was super friendly and his upbeat demeanor was contagious. The drinks ordered were delicious and our bartender was very attentive and prompt serving us throughout the evening. The menu has many options including a child's menu for your little ones. My husband ordered Tio Pancho's Pollo Con Queso dish and I ordered the Ranchero Burro dish, both meals were absolutely delicious and very much worth the drive. From the pleasant staff, promt service, delicious food and the lovely environment we can see why this little restaurant is a favorite for many. Don't be discouraged by the exterior, with this little gem looks are deceiving and La Piñata is now a favorite of ours.
08 June-23. First time visit. Traveling for work. Me and four of my colleagues went here for lunch.
Great service, great food. Guacamole appetizer was out of this world delicious, served with warm flour tortilla chips. Reminded me of home. All entries were piping hot, flavorful and delicious. Service was excellent. We will be back! Thank you for such a great time. 🤓🥳
I have to say out of all the places I have been that allow you to bring your furry friend because they have patio seating. This one is the best!!! The food was amazing and the prices were decent. The out door seating area had the entire area covered and vented for a swamp cooler for the hot months. There are heaters and a gas lit fire place that we sat in front of for the cold months. The atmosphere, and the staff are amazing. 110% recommended this place. Such good people here and food. When were in town again this will be our normal stop.
Service was great. Atmosphere was great. Some renovations were done since my last visit years ago.
Food here I wouldn't say is excellent Mexican food. There were several of us in our party and comments were made that some of their food was too spicy where it nearly ruined their meal.
This visit i was invited. I personally wouldn't bring anyone here for Mexican food. Instead I'd take them to a Mexican fast food restaurant or taqueria.
The cheese enchilada was ok. Although it was drowning in red sauce it enjoyed fishing it out of there. The taco meat was ok. It too had a peppery taste to it that just didn't blend in with everything else. Tostada? It's under there somewhere. But I enjoyed eating it with my fork.
Overall, the night was good. Good company will trump the food here. Maybe one day years from now I'll return with another invite.
Went here for lunch to meet the girls. It’s right down the street from me so that was very convenient. The atmosphere inside was very busy when we went but that’s just a good sign that everybody loves it! The walls were painted beautifully with Mexican style artistry. Very beautiful. The outside was enclosed and had a fire place . Looked pretty cozy honestly. The also had a wrap around bar that was a good size for a crowd. I got a taco salad which was pretty good. And our bill wasn’t to pricey
frozen strawberry margarita was so good. the ice is blended Soooo well on a hot day. beans and rice were so good. tacos were okay. chips and salsa were good. $27.00 on a combo plate and 1 drink
