1st visit here. Came from Texas to see friends after Thanksgiving 2023. OMG other than 50min wait time for our food it was great. Waffles superb. Chicken flavor was like nothing else I have ever had. Definitely coming back to try there other items. Give them a try š

Great fried catfish, okra, chicken and waffles. Waffles is thin and has a hint of coconuts. Okra was crispy and delicious. Catfish was thick and juicy. Chicken thighs were fried perfect. Chicken breast was a little dry.
Chicken gizzards didnāt taste like the gizzards I am used to. I like smaller gizzards with a little more chew. These were thick pieces that tasted more like livers.

Went in on a Saturday morning, place was pretty packed. No one was assigned to wait on our table so it took a while to get our orders started. Waitress finally made her way over, was very apologetic and even hooked us up with our choice of a biscuit or corn bread to hold us over till our food was ready. I ended up ordering the Double D's, two fried chicken breast and two waffle. She went ahead and threw in a third breast for the long wait time. I've come to this place a number of times, my first time was before they remodeled and expanded this store. I've never been disappointed with the food or the service. Always a good experience!

A solid soul food restaurant. The chicken was absolutely delicious. The greens are good and spicy how I like them. If you like creamy Mac-n-cheese and sweet dense cornbread then youāll like this. The rooster punch was delicious and had the perfect kick to it. I look forward to trying breakfast food.
Itās a very chill atmosphere with good music.

We had to check this place out due to the hype. We were not disappointed! The food was good. Everything was flavorful, and the greens definitely have a little kick. As you can see in the photo, you get a nice size portion for the veggie plate. The waffle wasn't as thick as expected, but it was still good. Drinks were great (you will get a buzz)! My wife loved the Kool-Aid. Yes, Kool-aid š¤Æ! She mixed 2 flavors and was in sugar heaven. Lo Lo's was definitely worth it. Our waiter, Sir, was also on point. My only complaint is that the entire floor was slippery. It could've just been my shoes (Vapormax) that made it worse than it was, but I had to walk carefully. Also, arrive as soon as they open because it got packed really fast. Oh, on the way there, it did look a little suspicious, and we did ask our driver where the hell we were going, but it's safe š.

Food was great service was some of the best Iāve had in a very long time. Plenty of workers. They didnāt make us feel rushed. Only thing I wasnāt a fan of was the music selection. I would not recommend cocktails from here as this is not a full service bar and the drinks are kool-aid based. Other than those two minor things I highly recommend going if your in Arizona. You canāt go wrong with the chicken and waffles by far the waffle is one of the best Iāve had and the chicken taste like it came out of my grandmothers cast iron skillet. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Wonderful food, absolutely mouthwatering delicious chicken!! We also got a side of the fruit, but will not from here again. The fruit was just a banana and a few blueberries, but you don't go to a chicken place for fruit haha. Everything else was amazing from staff to food! We even bought their t shirt, very cool Star Wars theme š

1st time here. It was packed, they said it was a 45 minute wait, so I had to see what they were offering. We end up only waiting about 30 minutes tops. They were pretty good. The staff was very nice and friendly. Winner winner fish and chicken dinner šš¤¤ Mac and cheese and collards were yumazing. Oh and the cornbread was yummy too. I'll be back for sure.

I had the biscuits and gravy with a side chicken thigh. Greg had the hot link, grits, and eggs. Drinks were a peach vodka with sweet tea, and Greg had a Miller light. We'll definitely go back!

Lo-Lo's was a delicious experience for us. We flew into town and pulled up surrounding restaurants. This place got our vote and we enjoyed every bite. The pancake melts in your mouth and seems to have a touch of cinnamon in the flavor. The chicken was crispy on the outside while moist and flavorful on the inside. They even have Lo-Lo's hot sauce to make it a perfect hot/sweet experience. Great atmosphere and cool music playing... We need one in Atlanta!

My wife and I decided to have breakfast out this past Wednesday. We have been saying that we wanted to stop here for a long time and finally did. And we were not disappointed!! Our appetizer was fried jalapeƱo Mac and cheese balls which were fantastic. I was expecting the Mac and cheese to be dry and tasteless but it moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. My wife had the traditional chicken and waffles and said that it was great. I had a chorizo and cheese breakfast bowl which was outstanding. Our server Steven(sp?) was very courteous and helpful. We are definitely going back for supper. Great job everyone!!!! And thank you.

The service was excellent! The food was unbelievable! We had fried chicken that was perfectly crisp, catfish fillet was huge, crispy and very tasty. The trio appetizer of fried green tomatoes, fried okra and corn fritters was amazing with 3 different dipping sauces. I loved the sweet tea in the big quart jars! My grandma was from Alabama and cooked liked this, it was like going to her house again for Sunday dinner!! Will definitely return and take friends and family š

I had catfish, a chicken wing, red beans and rice, fried okra and cornbread. Everything on my plate was delicious. The sweet tea, lemonade and kool aid was perfectly sweetened as well. We went on a Sunday morning and I greatly appreciated the gospel playlist they had playing during our visit. The staff was very friendly and never missed a beat. Canāt wait to visit again on our next trip!

Well, well, well, this was a gem for real! Love the atmosphere. Love the music, oldies. Love the service. Our server, named Sir, was helpful attentive, funny, and a pleasure to be with. But the real reason you come to a restaurant, the food! You will not be disappointed here. The food was tasty, prepared well, served hot. No complaints!. If ever you come through the Phoenix area be sure to stop.

Amazing! Great service and ambiance. Food was the best Iāve had in a long time, I had the biscuits and gravy. The mimosa was incredible as well! The hostess was really sweet and personable and our server was very attentive. We will definitely return š

Fantastic food but service ZERO! Waited 15 minuets before greeted or asked for beverage. Waited 45 minuets for dinner. No they werenāt that busy!! I think waitress forgot to enter our food.

Nice atmosphere, staff was fine. However, my chicken was cold and the Mac n cheese tasted as though it had too much Velveeta in it. If I had not been pressed for time I would have sent it back it did come out too fast to be fresh fried chicken. I really expected better considering the reviews Iāve and for the price they charge. $5 and change for a side should taste good. I will say the waffle was good. Tasted the cinnamon.

Their chicken was great! I also had waffles and eggs. They told us it was going to be a 25 minute wait, but had us seated in about 15 minutes. The Kool-Aid was the bomb! The service was top notch.
