Husband and I went here for a date night. It was very, very good food plus our waiter (John? ) was amazing. One of the co-owners was in house and stopped by to chat and even brought us an extra side of sauce. The smoke on the brisket and on the chicken wings was intense but delightful. Found out the chef was from my motherland, Texas, and that definitely explains how much I liked the brisket. The Brussels sprouts app was delicious. Will definitely be back!

A fun combination of heavier and lighter meals. We had six of us, and there was something fabulous for everyone. As well, the terrific staff helped to make this a true five star experience.

Fun and delicious! My friend invited me here so that was my first time going there. I like the atmosphere and also the food was good. I tried the beef shoulder which was very tasty. We also tried the duck french fries and I would say that they were good but nothing extraordinary. Overall I would recommend this place if you like to dine and enjoy a little ambiance as well.

Nice atmosphere. Brittany, our waitperson was excellent. Food and drinks were tasty. Only quibble is the duck fat fries were not warm and somewhat stale. The busser said they would bring fresh ones. Our wait person returned a few minutes later and said they were fresh from the fryer. They weren't, they were warmed up under the salamander and 5 minutes later we're cool and stale like the first order. Bad decision from the kitchen. Otherwise, very good food, appetizers (deviled eggs are to die for) and great ambiance. Overall, recommended. We'll be back. As I said Brittany was great!

Food and service always great. Very clean. We get a bunch of appetizers and then try to eat our entrees and can never eat them all! Good thing this place isn't close to us or we would be broke and fat ha.

You should come here for the Butterscotch pudding dessert. Full stop. It's that good. I'd drive across town JUST to eat that...but fortunately most everything else on the menu is pretty spectacular too. I've had had fish, steak salad, and me wife has had blacked rib eye tacos and various salads. All have been pretty spot on. In fact the steak salad had about the best steak I'd ever had on a salad. Not everything is perfect. The Brussel sprout dish wasn't anything special, and the overly hyped banana beignet dessert was way too greasy but otherwise a solid 4 star place. Then I came for brunch buffet. Every single thing was stunningly good. Not at all the mass produced buffets you get at hotels or casinos. 5 star biscuits available to order too. Overall. Probably my favorite restaurant in town right now.

I have eaten at the Salty Sow since it opened. The pork dishes are the stars. Every time I stray the food takes a step back. Like tonight with the prime rib. Sorry Salty Sow I need to support your strengths and what makes you different. I don’t want you to become another watered down tourist haven. My wife’s pork stew was marvelous. Our son was rewarded for trying the duck confit.

Great interior design and bar set up. The braised beef shoulder was very well prepared, the lavender in the sauce added an amazing floral notes to the dish

Excellent place for dinner with great ambience and service to make it a perfect location for a date night or a family get together. There is a walmart right behind the lot and hence parking spots are plentyeven if you do not find one right next to the entrance. The service is a standout with our waitress 'Amber' ensuring that we were well attended on a busy Friday evening. Reservation is recommended considering weekends can get a bit busy here. Don't miss out on their signature cocktails! We ordered the chefs vegetable platter and chicken thighs with mashed potatoes; bith were super yummy. They have a great choice of desserts as well; we had the Banana Foster Beignets and it was mouth watering with the vanilla ice cream. Overall a great restaurant and must visit around this area!
