Went on Sunday with the family for the StrEAT Festival and was up charged. Upon reviewing the receipt, I saw that the charge for our chicken wings was different than what I remember it being on the menu. After paying the bill, I patiently waited for the 1 waitress to return with my receipt to ask about it, but she never returned. I proceeded to find a menu and go inside to speak with the waitress. I let her know that she up charged me which she immediately denied. An older man with glasses then came over and she told him that I am accusing them of up charging me. She mentioned a guy’s name who apparently wrote up the receipt. She then looked for my receipt but was unable to find it in the huge stack. He then looks and finds my receipt in a different pile and grabs a menu. Next thing he says is we owe you $10. Proceeds to the register, gets the $10 and gives it to me with absolutely no explanation. I proceed upstairs to the bathroom only to come down and overhear him telling another man (maybe the owner or manager) sitting in the booth what happened. The other thing I noticed is the amount of tax that I was charged-$5 even which made no sense. Not only up charging on my food items but also rounding up the tax. Hopefully Uncle Sam is getting the overage they are taking for tax.

Good specials. Decent bar food. Few bars inside, helps spread the crowd when they all open. A reliable, comfortable spot.

Really not much to say. The “philly’s best wings” are really just regular pub style wings, and the service was pretty slow despite it not being very busy. Just a regular pub

This place a long time ago….was the place to be and they DID have good food! But me and my GF went there last night 2/20/2022 and it was sooooo bad! Horrible service….when you go to a bar you expect for the bartender to interact with you about what you like or should order! He couldn’t find the liquor I wanted and then….proceed to “look” for it then came back and said we must be out! Then couldn’t give no recommendations on what else THEY served that was good besides beer! I don’t drink beer! So……once the drinks were being made it was okay nothing to say thank you about! So the vibe was ok….I proceeded to place a order! Philly’s best wings…..and waffle fries I mean who could mess that up right? Welp they could! They didn’t have the waffle fries strike 1…..so I got the regular fries with 10 wings….the food was nasty 🤢 and the wing sauce looks like it was just drizzled on not wow factor…..so I was super made about that! Nothing was fresh about those wing or the food that came out of the kitchen! Bad bartender bad drinks…..don’t waste your time or money!

Not for me...Place is tacky, unwelcoming to my family. Food was super basic, nothing at all to come back for. Wayy better spots on the main line. Felt super awkward coming in also, didnt get a "hello" just a few weird looks.

Staff is super nice even when customers are not. Thanks Andrew for stepping in when another customer was antagonizing me and my dog.

Mondays are for $0.25 wings and $2.5 Miller lites.... Definitely arrive early because it gets busy. Service is amazing. They are really nice even thought they sometimes don't smile as much. Totally coming back next Monday! They have a wall of fake IDs lol

Recently moving to Philly from the Bayou City itself, I naturally gravitated to the Bayou bar and grill. I was happy to receive southern-like hospitality, menu, and even prices! $5 lunches? Yes please!
