California Pizza

Not the same in 2017 as in 2011-12. We used to order from Cali Pizza all the time in 2011-12...and loved them. Not any more. - Pizza dough doesn't get cooked all the way through. The flavor isn't quite there either. - Chicken wings are an odd collection of pieces that vary in size, are parts of a flat or drum, a couple pieces had feathers! Hot is mild. Mild must have no heat at all. Caesar salad was all "white" romaine (with brown), no green. Overall very disappointing. We tried them twice with these same results, so we can't chalk it up to a bad day. There are just too many pizza joints to give them another try :-(

I ordered a pizza very late at night for a few friends and had to wait about an hour longer then they said it would take. When the delivery man finally got here, he handed over the wrong pizza, which I didn't realize until my vegetarian friends had brought it upstairs and pulled apart the meat filled calzone (we ordered a veggie pizza). So I called back and the delivery man took another half hour to get here. My friends and I had thrown away the meat calzone. It’s not like the restaurant would serve that to a customer. When the delivery man came back, he yelled at me for not giving back the old pizza. He was very aggressive. I tried to explain that we threw it away, but he kept accusing us of eating it. He then walked back to his car with our pizza to call the manager. He said “they ate it” over the phone. Sigh… For a second I thought he was going to drive away with it but thankfully his manager told him to give it to us. At that point I didn’t even feel like eating because it was very upsetting to be yelled at like that, especially since it was HIS mistake to begin with.

Order a large basic bbq chicken pizza. No onions. Add bacon. It looked like they cooked a chicken and bacon pizza and then poured an entire bottle of bbq sauce on top of it right before they sent it out for delivery. Upon biting into the pizza I realized that there was red sauce underneath the cheese. Red sauce and bbq sauce? No one does this. Was the gallon of bbq sauce throw on to hide that there was red sauce? Who knows? What I do know that is that I could only stomach one slice and threw the rest of the pizza out.
