La Casa Del Mofongo

I was visiting my dad in Philly and I had planned on enjoying a nice dinner that was wheelchair accessible and that he would enjoy. Googled Spanish Food and came across a simple looking restaurant with some well presented photos of some delicious food. We drove about twenty minutes and when I asked if I can bring my dad in a wheelchair the host of the restaurant was welcoming, super kind and polite. She setup a table to accommodate my dad in the wheelchair, my sister and myself. We ordered a feast of foods and everything we ordered was made with Love and Great Flavor.. The food presentation was of a high end restaurant in a simple family owned restaurant and they catered to all of our requests. This is one place I plan on visiting every time I come to Philly.. GREAT LITTLE PLACE.. Food well worth their prices.. Give them a try, you will love them, like we did.. Brought my parents here to try it out and it was delicious! We tried the beef empanadas, the chicken soup and they were yummy! Small beautiful restaurant, waitress was a sweet heart and our dinners were delicious! Food was fresh, big servings. My dad ordered the fried pork chops, my mom ordered the bisteque Ensebollado and I had the fried pork chunks….yum!!!! Def recommend this restaurant.

It was Sunday afternoon, in the mood for some Sancocho, so we searched on line for someplace new to eat Latin food. So we came across some pictures posted on the web and we were automatically hooked and could not contain our "Ganas". So we decided to hop on the 47 and head out to eat there. We come from South Philly and I'm telling you it was worth the trip. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting, felt like we were at a family gathering. ❤️❤️❤️ Loved it so much that we will go back soon to try their breakfast.
