Best water ice. Hands down best custard. I hope they never change anything about their water ice or custard, because it's perfect as it is. Way better than Rita's. Mama's Tea and beach please are the best water ice flavors if you can't decide. Staff is awesome, especially Robin 🙂 The owner of this joint also owns Aramingo's best pizza shop across the street. Check them out too. Both places are the best around.

In my opinion, this is the best water ice in Philadelphia. They offer several water ice flavor concoctions, as well as standard flavors, chocolate and vanilla custards with or without water ice. PLEASE OPEN SOON!
May 2023 UPDATE: Yippee, Mama Marias Water Ice is now open! My fav this year is Mama Marias Iced Tea.

This spot is the best! Custard and water ice is delicious and the flavors are super creative. I got the lemon lime water ice and it had REAL lemon zest in it. Definitely the best water ice spot in the neighborhood!

If heaven is anything like Mama Maria's italian ice then I will be one happy girl when I get there!! Seriously though, this stuff is the most flavorful water ice I've ever had. They blow Rita's right out of the water!! Best flavor combos and real fruit pieces!! You will love them as much as I do!!
