Southhouse has a great menu, especially for people with gluten allergies (all of the breaded chicken and similar are gluten free, as are the fries). Karaoke on Friday night is a really great time. Grear craft beer and wine selection!
Best beers, best staff, best food. The karaoke on Friday's is also a blast, as long as the Sillies aren't there causing a musical logjam.
Traveling when gluten free is a challenge but finding little gems like this place is always my favorite thing. The service was great, the food was delicious, only concern was there wasn’t a “seat yourself” sign or anything so we were a tiny bit confused. However the experience from there was awesome! Food was delicious and lots of gluten free options, including a gluten free dessert which was decadent and delicious.
My boyfriend and I are visiting from out of town to watch the Eagles Bills game and we are so happy we found this place!! I’m gluten free and we prefer rowdy dive bars for Eagles games and SouthHouse is perfect!! Security at the door was so nice, all of the staff was nice actually, and the food is soooo good. We got the buffalo cauliflower and as a Buffalo kid myself, it’s legit. If you’re looking for a lively place to watch the game with fellow fans, look no further! Go Birds! 🦅🤍💚
This is a Great place! It's a sports bar/restaurant that is very welcoming to all types of people. They have great food, I Highly recommend the SouthHouse burger with a side salad. They make the dressing in house. Karaoke is there every Saturday 9pm-2am hosted by Me, Pirate Pebbs of Dr. Thunder Karaoke. It's always a fun time!
I enjoyed my first visit to the SouthHouse. I was excited to try a Philly cheesesteak in Philly only to discover that I ordered the sandwich with grilled chicken. 🤦🏾♀️ I was so excited to see that they served goat cheese, I totally missed that it was on a chicken sandwich. But, I digress.
I found this place on the Find Me Gluten Free app and it did not disappoint. They have gluten free buns and dedicated fryers. The buns weren’t bad, but a bit dry. I also got the potato and sweet potato fry mix. It was ok. I’m not a big fan of shoestring fries and these are a few millimeters shy of being shoestring. Overall, I enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend this place for someone who’s gluten free. They have other options that I’ll have to try at some point as well, mozzarella sticks, cauliflower bites, etc.
If you're hungry and either coming to Philly or leaving, make a stop at this cozy pub for some good eats and service. Just a short 15 minute ride from the airport, or on the way to it. Loved the gluten free options and burgers!
A lovely bar, pretty chill and amazing service. The food is awesome (seriously, I had the BBB and savory and sweet fries. They were 🥲❤️ wonderful!) The bar tender was fun, clear and attuned. They will be seeing me again very soon. ⚡
First time here. Burgers and wings were AMAZING. Fries were burnt ( not sure why the bartender served them but we dealt with it.) Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Parking is tough. So worth finding a parking spot. We will be back.
Eat here!!! TONS of AWESOME gluten free options (even dessert!) and really, really fantastic food. I got a really great gluten free cheesesteak with fries (gluten free fryer!!), caprese salad and a peanut butter bomb for dessert. I travel for work and eat out a lot. This is the best gluten free meal I’ve had from a restaurant in months.
Awesome gastropub for hanging out with friends. Servers and bartenders are very friendly. The drinks are tasty and their food is delicious. Very clean both indoors and outdoors. Will definitely be coming back.
Great gluten free cheesesteaks and mozzarella sticks. Bartender was great as well.
