Hands down best club for Latin dancing in the Philly area. Whether you are new to the Latin Dance Community or dance regularly, this is the place to go. Mike Andino is Philly's finest dance instructor. Brasil's is an awesome spot for people wanting to try something different, and others who are addicted to Salsa dancing. Mike's dance instructions are fun, and he makes it easy to learn. Brasil's also has the best bartenders and DJ's. I always look forward to my next visit, to get my "fix" of Latin Dancing.

Very fun experience and will be going again with friends! Loved the salsa and bachata lessons on Friday! It's something fun to do to meet people and learn something new. I would highly recommend coming early to the lessons if you need some more practice or are a beginner.

Great place to dance salsa and bachata. Very friendly regulars. Everyone is there to practice and people are very patient with each other when dancing with a new partner. I always enjoy coming here and learning something new.

The salsa lessons were amazing! (And free) People happily danced well after the lessons and it was an amazing chance to just get out in Philly without spending a ton of money. People were also incredibly friendly and respectful and there were so many incredible dancers!

Update: As of August 2023, things have overall improved at Brasil's. I noticed the shift in January of this year and there has consistently been a greater number of people, an increased number of women, and more regular appearance of people in the 20's age group. Some of this is attributable to the appearance of graduate students who are in the city during the academic year, but there has also been more regular, even if still basic, advertisement on social media. Even during the summer, numbers have been somewhat respectable albeit slightly unpredictable. Brasil's is open three nights a week--Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. If it is the first Thursday of a particular month, then Brasil's will also be open. Wednesday is a $7 cover and attracts very experienced dancers. Friday is free and attracts a lot of new faces or people who only go out a few times during the year, so skews more toward beginners or less experienced dancers. Saturday is a $10 cover and usually only attracts people who have made it a point to go out. The first Thursday is a $8 cover and often quite busy, although consists mostly of regulars or people who have been in the scene for a while. If you've never been here or intend to bring a group of people, I would highly suggest going on Friday. Original review (March 2022): Good place to dance salsa and bachata and they do beginner lessons on the weekends before the dance floor actually opens up. No cover on Fridays and $10 cover on Saturdays. Canned drinks are decently priced although mixed drinks and shots get expensive. That said, this place would be much better if there weren't so many guys and so few gals. As a guy, there isn't a good dynamic when every male in the establishment is literally chasing after a limited number of female dance partners, and it especially screws over beginners who need the partner dancing experience. Also, the diversity of the crowd isn't the greatest as it tends to have mostly older people (30's-50's) and couples with some of the same people showing up every weekend. If the marketing and advertising were better (i.e. an active Instagram account), I'm positive this place would get more people, including better representation from the 20's age group. There's no reason this place shouldn't be more popular when Lucha Cartel and Cuba Libre do similar things and get better turnout due to strong advertising on social media platforms

Great spot for dancing salsa on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Some nights include beginner lessons that are set up so you don't need a partner. Simple bar and a great vibe.

Super fun for dancing, and the staff and service is amazing! Came for the salsa dancing and was not disappointed! I feel like a pro now. Also had a great time at the bar. We ordered a hookah up from downstairs an they have really good happy hour deals. Kat and Vanessa we two of the servers working when I was there and they were very quick, and super friendly. Can't wait to come back another night soon!

I started dancing at Brasil's a year ago and haven't stopped since. The instructors and lessons are phenomenal, the bartenders are loads of fun, and the vibe of the entire place makes me excited to go back every time. Even the customers, including the first-timers, as well as the regulars are an absolute blast to enjoy evenings with every week. This Latin club has had a lasting impact on my time in Philly, and will remain one of my fondest memories.

Great place to dance. Beers are about in line with what one would expect to pay. Saturday night there will be a $10 cover to be prepared going into that. I’m only taking a star off because the motion sensor controlling the light in the men’s bathroom is set for like 20 seconds so I spent half my time in the bathroom peeing in the dark. Not cool 😂
