I've been to a different location before, just as good. I always get the falafel, this time I decided to add a tahini original shake. The falafel salad is a must along with the shake.
This was a pleasant surprise! I have crossed through this place multiple times ...and somehow never tried until the other day.
Falafel sandwich is amazing- not the regular one one gets in every takeout place. They have a variety of sauces- we tried the amba one on recommendation. Game changer!
Shawarma fries are also interesting if one enjoys spices. Franklin hall has good seating arrangements - so overall a nice place to enjoy the meal.
Definitely going to come here again.
What incredible kosher falafel. Hummus and falafel were delicious, fresh, and the schug was just right. The location is inside a food hall, so that was really noisy, but we just found a table on UPenn campus and it was lovely
The women who work here are super! Friendly, professional, and quick with the orders. They have the DeizenGoff hummus at this location and of course it is delicious. The price is reasonable for a bowl of hummus, a side salad, and warm pita (or cucumbers for gluten free). Goldie is situated inside Franklin’s Table, a mini food court on the University of Pennsylvania campus.
Great management here, very friendly staff and delicious food.
Very nice to have animal friendly options close to uPenn considering the surrounding eateries are mostly not vegan and harm animals everyday.
This is easily my favorite falafel in Philly if not the entire US. Get the schwarma fries too! I really love the staff here, they always have a super great attitude, even when it gets busy. The cashier is really kind and helpful if you are new!
Delicious food. I’d consider myself a falafel connoisseur and this place knows how to do it. Always freshly fried and the accompanying veggies are quality.
The banana milkshake is so good 🫡 falafel is so smooth and the sandwich has plenty of veggies
I've been coming here for a while and always get the the Harissa Falafel Sandwich. I wouldn't say it's the best falafel in the world (ie. compared to in Israel) but probably one of the best in the area. The one item that really brings down the sandwich is the pita. It doesn't taste that fresh, probably because it is always cold. The falafel itself is usually hot, though I've seen this vary in temperature. Not sure if they are fried to order.
Everything is also quite expensive for something so simple. Even something like extra harissa costs extra. For example, one of the reviews complains about the shakes getting smaller. The owner replied saying the cups got smaller due to supply issues. That's fine, but if you're reducing your portion size, you should reduce your price.
This salad is sooo good and filling! So many flavors and textures. Probably the only salad I’d pay this price for haha. I also love the Turkish Coffee Tehina Shake!
