Had an excellent meal here - chicken well seasoned, pita on point. FYI - Don’t be scared! We didn’t have a good sense of what Egyptian food was before ordering, but I’m glad we came here first! They have ordering screens (ala Wawa) so you can see exactly what’s in a dish. Or, if that’s not your thing, the staff are super friendly and happy to help.
My first time coming was for a Yelp event when the Bourse first opened as a food marketplace, and I knew I really liked all the spices even though it was my first time trying Egyptian food. I really loved the Power Bowl I customized with baba ghanoush (eggplant), marinated beets, and fried cauliflower! Efficient ordering and checkout process too.
Really enjoyed this place in The Bourse. The chicken rice bowl was delicious and a great portion for the price.
The hummus was excellent as well.
I really liked the touch screen ordering, which lets you easily customize your order.
Stopped by the bourse and tried out Ka’moon. Had the Egyptian Chicken and Rice bowl without any alterations. It was fantastic. The seasoning on the chicken complemented the rest of the ingredients well. Will absolutely return and order this again.
I am a person who is always apprehensive to try new foods. Before going to Ka'moon if you asked me if liked Egyptian Shawarma I would have been responded with a blank confused look. After trying the chicken shawarma with the tahini sauce, it opened up my perspective to a whole new type of cuisine. I would highly recommend this eatery whether you want a nice place to hang with friends or need food for the go. FYI highly recommend the pita chips :)
I always feel great after eating a dish from Ka’Moon - fresh, flavorful, and loads of options to create a custom meal. I personally love the rice bowls. P.S. - their Egyptian rice pudding is addicting.
I highly recommend the Egyptian nachos. It was INCREDIBLE. It had such a freshness to it and just the right amount of heat. Get an extra side of their homemade creamy garlic sauce! Polite customer service, too!
Omg... this Egyptian chicken nachos are soooooo good! My favorite by far and everything is so good. Friendly and helpful staff. Portions are big and shareable! Will definitely return!
