I spent a month in Philly learning a trade and while there I went on a search for the best cheesesteaks around. I went to 20+ different restaurants and This one BY FAR IS THE BEST ๐!! Not only is the taste unique but when you bite into it, flavorful ife enters your mouth! Ask any local and they will tell you the little "pop shops" are the best. Well, this one happens to be ran by a father and son and has been around for a long time. If I could have them ship to me in atlanta I would!
I heard this place was the best despite being tiny and hidden away. I was not disappointed. Little Pete's is currently my favorite steak joint. Excellent value, small venue, lots of character! I got the cheesesteak with whiz with fried onions.
I've been going here for over 25 years, family owned and ran. They take pride in every sandwich and you can taste it. From breakfast sandwiches in the a.m., and the cheese steaks at lunch, remember they open early, so they're not open late like the tourist trap places that sell lights, glitter and an inferior sandwich. One of Philly's treasures, stop you won't be disappointed!

I discovered this steak joint by accident and I'm glad that I did. It gives all the other well known steak joints a run for their money. I might even dare say that it tops Geno's Steaks & Pat's King of Steaks on taste. The steak was very juicy and savory and the bread was just right.
Passed by this place several times at night an it was closed .Finally passed by in the morning and I'm glad I stopped in cheese steak egg and cheese melted on my mouth. Today stopped in at lunch and had one of the best cheese steaks. If you are in the area or if not its worth stopping by.
