Amazing service! Friendly staff and very fast with service. The food was amazing! I ordered the creamed chip beef with home fries….yo! Let me tell you that was so f-n good! The portion was so large I couldn’t even finish it all! I wanted to, though! Our waitress Susie was AWESOME! So sweet and attentive! I would definitely recommend the Mayfair diner to everyone!

What's most likely now the oldest diner in Philadelphia the Mayfair offers good food, big portions at a reasonable price. The staff is very friendly. Sit at the counter at talk to the locals.
Why didn’t we discover this place until the day we had to leave Philadelphia? The 50’s setting, the friendly staff, the DELICIOUS food: it was all perfect! Lovely milkshakes as well with actual fruit in them. And I was pleasantly surprised that the toilets were clean which seems to be rare these days in the USA. I can’t recommend this lovely diner enough!

Great service. Good food. Reasonably priced. Off street parking. No outdoor seating. Locals have been eating here for many years. Update October 2022. Still my goto breakfast place. New hours, 7am to 6pm all 7 days. Update December 2023: It's still a good place.
Food was good, fast service, waitress was really nice. Lady at front counter a little intense regarding masks. You wear it for two seconds and then take it off at the table and they don't do social distancing regarding the tables so it made no sense. But over all good diner.
Tasty classic burger. Fries were perfectly crunchy. Great portion. Not overwhelming. Really enjoyed the atmosphere. Waitress was polite and attentive. Husband says the Reuben was really good
Take yourself back in time to a great old diner. Greeted and treated by great servers. The food there is fantastic if you're from Philly, you know, you're getting scrappke That's for sure, that's a breakfast time Their menu is all day, their food is great.
