I've eaten here twice and both times they excelled at the kind of food they are offering. The first time we went all out with some of the more expensive items --- their salmon and their brisket were both cooked to perfection. Brisket is one of the mainstays that my grandmother made and is therefore up there in the comfort food department for me. They did not disappoint. In fact they beat my grandmother at her own game. This one was cooked in some kind of wine sauce that gave it a deep, rich flavor. And it was so tender you'd think you were cutting into butter. My friend ordered the salmon which was also cooked to perfection. I have an extremely restrictive diet and can say that they are very conscientious at answering questions regarding ingredients and offering to substitute foods in place of ones I can't eat. So the second time I was there I got there Mount Airy burger, an incredibly juicy burger cooked perfectly to order at medium rare with plenty of melted fontina, grilled peppers and onions, and plenty of avocado with a lovely garlic aioli. Usually served on brioche mine was served on a big enough bed of lettuce to make a wrap out of it. You get two sides and I knew from past experience that their Caesar salad is so good that I got a double order of that, sans the great looking grilled baguette points. The dressings has the perfect balance of creaminess and saltiness from the fresh anchovies. Sadly I cold not partake in their basket of fresh breads, a reminder of their roots as a bakery. I was told for future visits that they would gladly substitute broccoli rabe instead of rice in their jambalaya, which I saw served from their open kitchen --- a foodie's paradise watching the assortment as it was prepared. The crowning touch was a cup of coffee that outshines any of the coffee houses in town. They brought out a pot so we could have a second cup. Their bar boasts some of the most original drinks you'll find. As a water drinker I was delighted to find that they leave a bottle of the cool liquid on your table. Great service, great atmosphere, and great food. You know I'll be back!

I've heard some good things about the new Lebus and had to check it out. We started out with a couple of cocktails that were quite exotic. I wish they had the drink menu posted on their webpage so I could look back at what I got. All I can tell you is that both cocktails were quite unique, full of flavor, and definitely had an alcohol wallop to them. We decided to split an appetizer of mussels in a coconut curry. Sheer Nirvana! You get a big bowl along with a piece of their toasted baguette which works wonders at soaking up that heavenly broth. The curry coconut has just the right amount of lime to give it a complex flavor without being too strong. Oh, I literally picked up the bowl and drank the remaining broth. It may not have looked refined but I was not going to waste a single drop. Next came our entrees, which I figured could not possibly come close to the mussels. I was wrong. The special, a brisket with a chile rub was not spicy as I imagined it would be; the wine it was braised in probably cut the heat and gave it a rich flavor. I ordered a Caesar salad instead of one of the given sides. I usually ask for the dressing on the side but forgot to this time. When it came I wanted to kick myself; it appeared to have more dressing on it than I like. But since I was the one who made the mistake I didn't say anything and I'm glad I didn't. That Caesar dressing would have had old Julius drooling. Do not order it if you do not anchovies, but if you like a traditional Caesar dressing then you must try this. Just the perfect amount of anchovy and I could tell it was fresh. My friend ordered the jambalaya which was a huge bowl of shrimp, sausage, and mussels in a tomato broth over rice. It packed a punch of heat without overpowering the individual flavors. We decided to tempt fate and see if the dessert could compare. We split a peach cobbler with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was plenty big for two people and was the crowning touch of a fabulous meal. This was definitely fresh peaches, cooked down with just enough sugar to not make sure you knew it was dessert without being overly sweet. The spices --- probably cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom elevated it to a delectable mosaic of tastes on your tongue. It's always a bit of a guessing game to see what kind of cobbler is used. In this case it was like a crisp biscuit which complimented the fruity filling. It was not sweet but had a dusting of cinnamon and a buttery flake to it. On the side was the perfect vanilla ice cream with specks of vanilla bean. A cup of the finest coffee on the side. Allow me to add that the service equaled the food. Do you think I'll be back? Positively no doubt!

I had the Green Salad with buttermilk pesto dressing (I recommend this dressing) and the vegetarian chili with cheddar. The Granny Smith slices had flavor, it was a delicious salad. The chili had a lot of black beans and kidney beans and tasted great for a vegetarian chili. And of course the fresh baked bread slices were special. My friend had the Green Salad with salmon which he said was cooked perfectly. There was a wait for lunch on this Saturday so we ate outside, which I highly recommend. It’s covered, shady, spacious and there was only loud noise from vehicles once or twice.

Good place for breakfast, lunch or brunch. Their corn bread is amazing! Though, during my first and only visit, they seemed to be understaffed and had a crowed. Everything was late! With some many people looking for jobs, they should definitely hire more servers. Particular for weekend shifts!

What a lovely little gem this restaurant is! From the relaxing atmosphere -- the place is absolutely bursting at the seams with beautiful plants and paintings from local artists, and when we grabbed lunch there on a particularly hot day, it felt like an oasis in the desert -- to the amazing food, fresh baked bread, and extensive cocktail offerings, Le Bus has it all. I highly recommend the steak frites and the salmon niçoise. Portion sizes are generous, too. If you're in the area, this place is a must-try. It's quickly becoming our go-to spot! Don't forget to grab a loaf of their raisin walnut sourdough on your way out.

Beautiful inside and the food was amazing. I have never met a bowl of mushroom bisque I didn't love and this was no exception.

Great brunch spot right next to Kelly drive. Service was amazing and speedy. The shrimp and grits were flavorful and the same should be said of the steak and eggs with caramelized onions. The clam chowder was not so great in my opinion, but the cornbread was delicious and made the chowder better. Nice outdoor seating area, they were able to accommodate my dog and even brought some water for him.

A beautiful restaurant with great food. The patio area looked delightful especially when lit up in the evening, but it was a little chilly on our visit. I had the Lemon Butter Chicken and it was delicious. The veggies complemented the meat excellently. The bread and butter is their bread and butter. It was so good.

Absolutely love the food. I thought it being pricier than other places would be a turn off but the food is absolutely worth the price. The plates are HUGE and the service is impeccable. French toast and pancakes are to die for and the coffee is really strong (none of the weak stuff you usually get). Ambiance of the place is cute and I will definitely be returning to LeBus for more foods, maybe next time for dinner 😁

I’ve been wanting to stop by in here after passing it so many times, and today I finally did. The atmosphere is super calming and peaceful, and the food is fantastic. The bread used for the toast was super fresh, my bacon was cooked perfectly and I loved the seasoning on the potatoes. I’m happy I finally got the chance to get food from here and I’ll definitely be going back for breakfast again. Definitely recommend this place!

Awesome treasure in East Falls! Great menu with several vegetarian options and salads are great. We went for lunch but with a full bar, it would be a nice place to hang out although it isn’t large. The layout is a bit wonky and you can tell patrons are repeat because they know where to go and what to order. There is also a nice little bakery items for purchase. Found out the owner makes bread for Philly restaurants and runs this place in the side. Can’t wait to try brunch or breakfast!
