We drive up from Baltimore. Brought our parents up years ago and still come up to enjoy the Wonderful hospitality and delicious food. If your ever in Philly you need to stop in. You won't be sorry!!
Great place to visit for some true polish food. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Food was delicious and authentic (Wife was born and raised in Poland). Environment was nice. It is a bar so probably during the night is louder but during the day it was nice and quiet. Three minor complaints. The name of the bar is not indicative of being polish. So if you are a visitor to the area (this is the polish section of Philadelphia) you would never know it was polish. The second complaint is that they only accept cash. I wish they were more up front about that before we ordered $70 in food. The third is the prices of the food. The food was delicious but expensive. A very nice place to visit but I wouldn't come here for primary meals all of the time.
Love me some polish comfort food on a cold day. Pro tip ask if they have pickle soup it's a white polish borscht. Yum. Perogis are excellent and light, potato pancakes crispy and creamy and a huge portion. No frills bar atmosphere and good "home" cooking. Good polish beer on tap too.
Looks like it is closed. Very dark interior. Delicious Lunch. For the price of a cafeteria style meal at other neighborhood joints you get a fresh meal cooked healthily and served in hearty portions. Tomato Soup, Stuffed Cabbage, Fried Whitefish, Cucumber Salad and Mashed Potatoes were all wonderful. Will definitely be returning.
Great Polish Bar/Cafe/Restaurant with great service to go to any day of the week. Always enjoy a drink and something to eat like Fried Meat Pierogi, Hungarian Pancake or Chicken Caesar Salad. Everything in the menu is a MUST TRY!
Think place has delicious Polish food! It reminds me of my great aunt's cooking. The Polish beers are awesome, too.
Food and service was excellent. Authentic polish food. I highly reccomend the stuffed cabage and the kielbasa. The okocium beer and sobieski vodka are delicious! Will be back!
Nice quiet polish bar/resturaunt. I recommend the warka beer with perogies.
One of the best in Port Richmond. Great GOOD and food made from scratch. The vibe is relaxing, the service is polite and quick and best of all the place is spotless. Enjoy !
Great Polish food, good prices and portions. The bartender/server is always friendly.
