Homemade Goodies by Roz makes the best baked goods! My mother baked and I bake and Roz's goodies are the only pastries I will buy. Even better, they make lots of vegan baked goods. They have the lightest, tastiest scones, cupcakes, chocolate chip-sea salt cookies, and cakes. If you want really tasty sweets, buy them from Roz's!

tl;dr - Eat! One cookie won't hurt you! Eat! 1. This place smells exquisite. The air is redolent with aromas of baked and baking cookies and cakes, warm spices, and sweetness. 2. The decor and furnishings are from the 50s and 60s. The curios and knick-knacks are pure kitsch and schmaltz. Young folks will stare at the charming antiques; older folks will gaze adoringly and become nostalgic for their mother's and grandmother's kitchens. 3. Everything is kosher parve. No dairy or animal product of any kind is used here. Vegetarians and vegans can graze freely on every item. Both observant and non-observant Jews, Catholics, and Muslims can come together and drool ecumenically at the glass-fronted pastry case. The only animal cruelty is to the human animals who either shouldn't have any or who eat too much. 4. I had one chocolate chip cookie -- just one! I want more. I want *all* of them. As a diabetic, I shouldn't have any of this, but I was offered the cookie for free, and my inner cheapskate won out over my willpower and I had one. It was -- speaking as a home baker -- perfect. The outside was crispy, while the inside was tender and chewy with soft but not runny semisweet chocolate chips. I want to buy a dozen to take home, except that 1) I shouldn't have them at all, and 2) I would probably eat half of them before I got home. The place is closed Saturdays (for the sabbath) and Mondays (because old-school retail Philadelphia). Come in every other day of the week -- including Sunday! -- and partake of the parve!

$36 for a dozen cupcakes felt like alot, still think a deal on a dozen would get them more business, BUT after having one... Then 2, it's well worth it if you're just stopping in with a friend or want to bring some delicious baked goods to a special event

The strawberry bar i had was amazing. It smells like a bakery the moment you walk in and has a home-esque vibe.
