The original good beer bar in Philly. I remember finding this place in the long gone City Paper probably 30 years ago. It's practically unchanged - and that's a good thing. Solid line up of beers - including 3 hand pumps - good food menu and some outstanding happy hour deals.
I actually work the door every other weekend. Live music every Friday and Saturday night. Great selection of craft beers, cheapest liquor prices in yunk. Also just a lot of really nice peeps
Great local experience with a helpful bartender, and minimal customers at the odd hour we stopped in. Chili dogs were yummy with a little kick according to husband, and my blt Cesar salad was delish. Started with the hummus platter which was tasty and toasted warm pita. Good beer and drink selection too, since it's a bar!
Went to see Slowly and the Boats here on a Sunday where they had BBQ set up outside. BBQ was great, but it's only once a month or so. The vibe was friendly, the service, beer, food, and band were great!
Great local spot. Reasonable prices. Interesting food choices but we'll done.
Spent saint Patrick's day here. The music was incredible, and the food is always delectable. Christmas decorations seem to be up all year and the parking is impossible or it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately it's street parking so there's not much to be done about it. Seriously good food though.

Nice quaint pub in the Manyunk area of the city. While small there is a lot of character and the staff is very friendly.
A nice place to see a small band perform. The menu had options for meat eaters and vegans. They really try to be a place welcoming to everyone. The crowd was mixed, but did have a lean.
My only issue was that as the person sitting at the end of the bar (nearest to the music) had to deal with the wait staff using the space in front of me as a holding spot for dirty implements and table trash.
I think had I sat anywhere else I would have given them a 5.
My husband and I had 3 plates of seitan wings, a hummus platter and 4 amazing craft beers during happy hour for $38! We don’t eat cheese, but there was a huge hunk of goat cheese in the hummus platter. We appreciate the generous portions. I’m glad this place survived the pandemic. It’s a great place if you like dive bars.
Great little venue for live music, fresh pub fare, and hand drawn cask beers as well as a full bar. Uniquely Manayunk!
Great place to see talented local musicians (Tabla Rasa pictured), get some gastro pub fare, and choose from a giant selection of craft beers. Also have a quaint patio area with outside seating available. Street parking is possible, but is largely a crapshoot, better off taking a taxi or walking.
