The atmosphere is full of love and great people. The food was delicious. I got turkey wings which we cooked and seasoned perfectly.
The open mic was full of talented people and the house band was great, with real musicians that seem to know how to play anything.
Note: The person next to me at another table said her cornbread was overcooked. She couldn't even cut it.
The food here is always on point. To me, today's temperature for the mac n cheese could have been hotter, but it was perfect to my friend. The corn bread, a crowd favorite, was stellar as usual.
Everyone loved their food: Braised beef short rib (so incredibly tender), hot honey fried chicken, and the turkey wings. It was our friend's first time and she will be back.
I would put Relish into the group as being one of the best soul food spots in Philadelphia. The Hot honey fried chicken with greens and smashed potatoes were delicious. The greens had turkey meat in them and were not overly seasoned. The "smashed" potatoes were good. The chicken was just so juicy and tender and not dried out. The Hennessey Sangria was delicious along with the mango pineapple bread pudding.
I thoroughly enjoyed the live band that entertained us with real music. The service could use more hands to allow more attention to tables and not hailing them down when you needed something. There are no substitutions as well but I'm not sure if they can exclude shrimp from a dish. In all I had a great time and will be returning to try other items.

Went for my anniversary last night and when I tell you that sh*t was LIT. We had reservations away from the jazz but we ended up getting seated with the live entertainment. And when I tell you they put on a SHOW! Our waiter was extremely helpful, was disappointed my partner couldn’t get the steak but she ended up getting the fried fish and I went with the chicken and shrimp Alfredo. The mac and cheese just kept getting better as we kept eating. The only cons were they were out of steak (our reservation was for 9:30pm still not acceptable lol) and we couldn’t substitute sides but our waiter threw us a some sides on the house. Overall I give it an 8.5/10 only because they were out of steak and where we ate near the bar where they play the music the house band had a fan club line dancing going crazy sometimes getting too close for comfort. If it wasn’t so lit and I didn’t feel like I was at a family reunion I can see how it can bother OTHERS but not me. Food on point, vibes were nice for a Saturday night, food was reasonably priced. Relish is a vibe!!! Honestly, this place has been on my hitlist for a long time. Well, I finally got the chance to go! The drinks were delicious! I had a henny sangria. I also ordered the hot honey fried chicken. First and foremost, I want to say how I began to salivate when I saw my plate. It was a whole half of chicken y'all! Every piece! The chicken was golden brown, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I do have a complaint though. I ordered hot honey fried chicken. I did not get hot honey fried chicken. There was some kind of drizzle of honey on there but when you say hot honey chicken I expect to get just that. That was fairly disappointing. The collard greens had some sort of sweet taste to it. Almost as if they add sugar to their greens. It wasn't good. The mashed potatoes weren't nothing spectacular but they were good. The deviled eggs were good. The pickled red onion on top really provided the acidity that the eggs needed. Thebyalk was a little too think for me but that's just me. The eggs were served with micro greens. I really wish that they would of put a squeeze of lemon and some pepper or something on the microgreens. Not just leave them undressed. All in all, I would definitely go back!
The place is nice, staff was friendly, live jazz band after 7, and the food was delicious. The only thing I didn't agree with is that they don't allow substitutions, if you wanted a different side than what was assigned to the dish, it was extra which is a bit unfair not knowing if a person may allergic or just simply doesn't like that specific side. Otherwise, food was very, very good.
5/5! Wow what a local treasure this fine dining restaurant is but not your typical over priced menu. Warm beautiful atmosphere with live Jazz music! Efficient and friendly customer service both hosts and server (we had Christian and he was fantastic)! The food was the cherry on top, absolutely divine! We started with the wings and cornbread skillet both were amazing; for entrees we ordered the lamb and salmon both were perfect portions and cooked just right! I highly recommend Relish and can’t wait to dine again soon!!
The food here was AMAZING!!! Great soul food, great live music, great service from the employees. I got the hot honey fried chicken with the cabbage and greens mix and the mashed potatoes. It was very tasty, and that’s coming from a southern woman. I also had the Ciroc punch and that was very tasty as well. Lastly, I had the brownie for dessert and tried my friends strawberry shortcake. Both desserts were very tasty as well. I recommend this place to everyone now. You will have to make a reservation to be safe, but the experience was 100% worth it!!! The service was great and the experience was amazing!!

Phfun, phfun, Philly fun! Delicious food, sweet service. Went on Saturday night so service slow, but our server was very conscientious and kept our drinks filled while we waited for our food. Live music that night was an extra special treat. The cocktails were delicious, not too much ice, and strong! I had the Put a Spell on You, and my husband the Uncle Nearest Sour. When the food arrived, definitely worth the wait. Deviled eggs with crab appetizer. I had a braised rib, my husband had catfish over a crab remoulade. And that rib was tender and flavorful through and through!
My only qualms were that they were out of turkey wings (which is what I really wanted), and you can't switch sides. Supply chains aren't their fault. I couldn't switch my green beans for greens. I had to buy an extra side, though they did give me the extra side at a discount.

I loved it, so sorry I can't remember names. I booked with a nice young man for my birthday. I went in at 8pm on a Sunday and everything was great. I ordered the seafood mac and cheese as well as the catfish meal. It came with catfish, green beans and jambalaya rice. The drinks are GREAT nothing was watered down
