First time there. . Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean. My friends had drinks at the bar, they said they were good. Very economical for food and drinks. Its affordable. They have a outside patio bar as well. Definitely would go back. My coworkers and I really enjoyed ourselves. We were celebrating a birthday. Great place for a bowling party.

Dropped by for a party at North Bowl. Quite the place to hangout with friends over drinks and bowling. Got a decent number of lanes, fewer arcade games, but lots of space to hangout. The bar has some pretty cool selection of beers and the food is okayish. It's an option to consider if you've got a group. About a 20min walk from the Old City.
We had our Annual Client Appreciation Event here and it was SO FUN! We arrived and the planners had everything set up and running smoothly, we didn't have to do a thing. Mariah (Director of Sales and Events) was incredible. She answered all questions quickly beforehand, and she arranged caricature artists that were a total hit, a DJ who played exactly what we were looking for and even secured some last min lanes downstairs so our guest could enjoy more bowling! Everyone kept sharing how much fun they were having. Highly recommend for a large party!
Fun place for our company party, they have a loft bar with a few alleys and pool tables where we could have space to ours. Decent buffet food, accommodating bartenders, clean bathrooms.
2023-01-27 North Bowl is pretty great! The interior design and decorations were all well maintained and on par for a classic feeling bowling alley, super above average from other places I've been. 8 of us went here after work on a Friday evening. All the staff was great. From the bartender, our waitress at the lanes, the bouncer at the door and owner. This place is well organized and knows how to do it right. The food was well up scale for what a NJ person thinks of food at a bowling alley. The Korean tacos, sliders and tatter tot bowls were presented like an upscale restaurant and all tasted great. Our waitress was very nice, fast (which is a testament to the cooks behind the scenes) and attentive to our needs. The bartender didn't have a weak hand (thank you). There was a communication error at the front desk when we originally checked in but the owner had no problem making things "more then right" with the customers who really weren't too upset. Two of us did get scolded (rightfully so) by the bouncer for wearing their bowling shoes out side. He knew how to make his point and still keep us all smiling. It was one of the most pleasant scoldings I've had. My hats off to him! There is a second floor balcony that's setup like a lounge. It has a second bar, 2 pool tables, 2 foosball tables, an air hockey tablet and more arcade/pinball machines. This area was reserved for a party later in the evening. There are a few arcade/pinball machines on the first floor. There was also a DJ on the first floor. There is no dedicated parking so you'll have to find some on the street. We didn't feel unsafe walking in the evening back to our cars at 8pm. Hands down, a greater experience then Lucky Strike in Center City. We'll definitly be back! Thank you.
Very cool place even though we got there too late to bowl.
I went there many years ago and actually was a security guard there. It's always been a wonderful environment. The food is always great, and the people are always helpful. Very professional family and night evening activities. For such a wonderful place I recommend on the highs to take a visit First chance you get.
The bowling alley itself and upstairs area is nice, but it was pretty expensive for just two games. They make you take one of your own shoes off and give it to them to make sure that you return their bowling shoes when you leave at the end, which is never something I've had to do at a bowling alley, but I don't go bowling often and maybe that's the norm now or in Philadelphia? The men's bathroom was clean enough but the stalls were cheap and I think one didn't lock properly which wasn't nice. 3.5/5, but I'll round up. :)
My family and I always have a fun time here! Great snacks, drinks, and service. On our last visit I overestimated my children’s attention span for a second game and they refunded us without issue.
Decent place when it's not too loud... You have to be very careful and look where the speakers are when you scope out a place to hang out there... It's tough to avoid the speakers in every corner, but you can if you look hard enough.
When I was younger and bars would play extremely loud music, I would go around cutting the speaker wires in a corner of the bar to give us a sanctuary where could we get actually congregate and socialise while enjoying our beers...
Just saying...
