Bourbon Blue

Went here for date night on sunday. Got a seat right away. Their specials seemed pretty good, we got a bottle of wine half off on sunday. They also had live music which started around 7 and the band they hand come to play was good. We both got the jambalaya and thought it was pretty decent, although for 20 dollars I felt it should have been a bit more than what we paid for. The entrees were all around that price and if it was anything like the jambalaya I'd say if it was a few dollars cheaper then I would have been perfectly fine with what I paid for. Since he had been to new orleans before he was looking for that same taste and it wasn't quite there, but for a date night it was good for something new and we would definitely go back for the specials and music

Stopped in for brunch on a Sunday morning. It has a very rustic feel to the interior with rough walls but decorated nicely. Our waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Prices were reasonable especially given the portion size. We had the skillet and benedict and they were prepared perfectly. First time here and definitely will stop back when in the area.

Loved the place! Located next to the river, the atmosphere was special, and the menu was very good. I will definitely have to return a few time to try all the dishes. I took my mother and 2 of her best friends along with my sister for a second Mother's Day meal, and everybody enjoyed thier time at Bourbon Blue. Oh almost forgot... The Shrimp and grits was to die for.

I think he ambiance is my favorite thing about this restaurant. The food can be excellent, but sometimes is just mediocre. They often have live music which also contributes to their inviting ambiance. The building itself has a lot of character and the bar is beautiful. I’ve met the owners before and they were very kind and generous. Always happy to support the local entrepreneurs.
