I came right when they were opening at 5 on a Friday - the happy hour is PHENOMENAL. I had a beer recommended as I normally drink Stella. I sat at the bar and the staff were incredibly warm and accommodating. The chicken legs and slaw were amazing, the sandwich was delightful and the deviled eggs were next level. I can’t wait to visit again next time I’m in the city.

Went during happy hour and sat outside. Food is great and recommend adding the sauces they have on the table because they were delicious. Drinks were also great

Lovely space. I really dig the look of the place, industrial feel, no TVs and the great smell of smoked meats. Food was the weakest part though, the baked beans had a small piece of meat in them, not enough to call it burnt ends, or elevate the price. The brisket sandwich was anemic, underwhelming and could easily be more. The sauces were ok, not bad, not great. Head up to Zig Zag and get a solid version of a brisket sandwich, full of meat, toppings and flavors, which this one lacked. The food was a "b" coming from a Texan that is always looking for good BBQ.

A nice staple here when you just crave some BBQ. The brisket and burnt ends are my absolute favorite. If it's hard to choose, pick the 2 or 4 person package and you'll get to taste almost everything they have to offer. Also solid selection of Beers.

Completely unpretentious and understated; service, food, and atmosphere were excellent! We arrived without a reservation at 5:30 on a Summer Saturday night and were greeted with friendliness and professionalism. We opted to sit at the bar even though the dining room was about 70% full. Our bartender gave us great service, unfortunately we forgot her name already, but ahe had a short brunette bob. We rocked pulled pork and brisket sandwiches, spicy sausages, potato salad, spicy slaw, and a few craft beers before a show at Fillmore Philly. Will definitely go back

WOW! I am so impressed and eagerly waiting to go back to Fette Sau. This is truly BBQ.Our group stumbled into Fette Sau hungry and we were immediately greeted, seated, and fed. It was a delicious experience. We got a 1/2lb of brisket and 1 lb of pulled pork! Do yourself a favor and get the corn bread and burnt ends baked beans!

The brisket and ribs were really tasty, soft, and juicy. You can order in 1/4s to get more variety. Cocktails were professionally made.

We went there for the first time and the experience was very interesting. The decor and setting is rustic/industrial and goes well with the restaurant theme. The barbecue food was very delicious. You place your order and you pay at the bar.

Good BBQ does exist in Philly! Fette Sau has wonderful BBQ and a fine assignment of cocktails. Definitely worth a stop if you're in Fishtown.
