Our server Teresa was amazing. She was super sweet and made wonderful suggestions for our first time there. We went with her choices and we couldn't of asked for a better meal. The choices she gave us really were a great example of the favorable, fresh, and memorable menu that you guys provide. The hipster meatballs were to die for couldn't believe they were vegetarian and her choice of the bronzino for my husband was perfect. Couldn't believe it was the whole fish but it was so well seasoned and prepared that it was gone in a matter of minutes. Even down to the drinks was amazing! Highly recommend this place and will definitely return if I am ever in town!
We were seated in the back which is actually a covered and heated outdoor space, but it was fine. The food was great, if you like meat done well this is your place. We ordered meatballs, slab bacon, and the Korean ribs as appetizers. All were very good. Flavorful and well seasoned. The two of us could have stopped at that but we split a bone in ribeye. We ordered it rare and it came out that way. If a place specializes in meat and you order rare it should come out almost mooing. One again very flavorful. I’ll be back.
Came here to eat today for brunch. We ordered the bottomless drinks which were good and the biscuits for an appetizer. Biscuits were very good. For my entree, I ordered the salmon toast, very tasty!
The server was nice but we wish he was quicker with refilling our drinks. I liked the ambiance and the rnb music playing in the background.
Overall great experience and I would return.
Took my date out to this place during restaurant week. Their appetizers, especially the duck wings and pretzel rolls were tasty.
I had the main dish of the 1/2 rack baby back ribs with the cornbread. The ribs were OK. However, it was too heavy with the sauce. My date enjoyed her steak.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Ambiance and the staff were wonderful
The burgers here are incredible. Cooked perfectly, great flavor, and the soft bun works well. I like my lettuce and tomato more crisp than these, but it didn't take away from the experience. Note that the 4 oz patties are closer to smash burgers than the 8 oz. Classic fries are a good pairing, and there are at least half a dozen cocktails that caught my eye. I ended with the cookie/ice cream combo which had the right level of sweetness. Service was slow at times, but they were busy on a Friday night.
I had an incredible dinner at Butcher Bar this past Saturday with my friends, and it was truly an amazing experience. Our waiter, Marco, was outstanding, offering fantastic recommendations and displaying great patience as we navigated the menu. Our appetizers, the bone marrow and duck confit wings, were both delicious, with the duck being a standout for me. When it came to our entrees – baby back ribs, Italian meatballs, the Royale with Cheese, and the Nashville game hen – the portions were impressively generous, leaving us with leftovers. The ribs were tender and flavorful, and the drinks were fantastic. I'm eagerly anticipating my return visit, and I have to give a special shout-out to Marco for his exceptional service!
First time ... freaky enjoy this restaurant. It was restaurant week and we ordered from that menu. I had duck wings, spare ribs and chocolate moose. It was all delicious but the the spare ribs were over the top and the meat fell off the bone at the touch of a fork.
Happy Hour is great.
Brunch is great.
Dinner is great.
The staff has always been helpful and attentive. The food is very good, meat is my fav and Butcher Bar does meat great!
The place was amazing! The duck wings were bomb.
Burger was delicious but the star of the show was that oven roasted deep fried chicken with a potato waffle!
I wouldn’t say this place is cheap, expect $40-$50 per person with drinks included
Will be back with a group to try the butcher!
Went here with family - just a casual dinner gathering. The front of the restaurant is fine but not impressive. Hostess was juggling a number of people but did okay. The tented Yule Lodge in the back was festive and unique. The food was the highlight - definitely recommend for some American favorites - the Royale with Cheese did not disappoint.
Tried out Butcher Bar with a friend and had a good experience. We split the dry aged ribeye, mushrooms side, and bone marrow appetizer. Everything was definitely solid, however more bread for the bone marrow and vegetables with the steak would have been appreciated.
My beer however tasted off, and more information on the cocktails for what actual liquors were being used would have been useful. Vibes inside were definitely upbeat, albeit inline with the beef forward menu.
Cool spot, probably wouldn't return unless friends wanted to try again.
My wife and I stopped in to celebrate the end of the school year. There are a variety of indoor and outdoor seating options depending on the weather. We sat inside. Our server did was very attentive and did an excellent job. The food was very good however the portions were on the small side. We ordered the octopus and Korean ribs. For dessert we got the Nutella chocolate chip cookie which was underwhelming. The place does have a decent beer list. Overall it's worth a stop.
