Great Spanish food, I love it. I was here twice and what can I say? Food is amazing, anything you order will taste like heaven )). We ordered several dishes that we eat in Barcelona and I can tell you that from very first bite it took me back to Barcelona. This place is highly recommended.

OMG!!! Best Spanish restaurant I’ve ever tried! Those side and dish were really authentic and tasty! All the staffs were really kind and friendly. The vibe looks so exotic and moody! Wanna visit this restaurant if I visit Philly again!!!

Overall it was a good experience. Service was good. Noise level was reasonable. The food hit the mark most of the time. Too much salt would be my only complaint. The gem salad was really good. Highly recommended. We liked the lamb as well. Definitely worth checking this spot out.

This is a great little find. The restaurant/bar is small but there is seating outside on the sidewalk. The plates are small but delicious. The tapas was great. This felt more like Spanish fusion but the rich Spanish base was never lost. I liked their cocktails as well.

They have the Jamon. Can't complain. FYI happy hour is bar only. Overall the drinks were good but the food was a bit saltier than expected, given the cured meats.
Romatic atmosphere. Music was good. Only 1 bathroom.

Warm, cozy and vibrant environment. Small and personal inners great for a variety of different occasions. Bartender and waiting staff were very helpful, and friendly. I was not able to get reservations, but I stopped in to see if there were any available bar spots open, and within two minutes, two stools became available. Cocktails were far from bland. A well rounded blend of fresh ingredients mixed appropriately left the drinks perfect, and not too overwhelming strong nor too weak. Chef’s Board was an amazing collection of cheeses and chorizos with a few other nice spread items. A few other small plates were a great addition to the cocktails and Chef’s Board. I will certainly be back soon for more cocktails and some main course dishes.

We were looking for somewhere to eat and casually stumbled upon this restaurant. We waited for a couple awkward minutes to be seated but this was understandable because of how busy it was. We sat outside and decided to start off with a cheese and meats platter which was fantastic and rich. Our waiter was extremely friendly and knowledgeable on the plates that we ordered. Our main course was the paella mezcla which was big enough for two. For dessert we went with the churros accompanied by a spicy chocolate dip which was something different but extremely good. The drinks were just as good as everything else.

Jamonera never disappoints.
In a city filled with Tapas wannabes...Jamonera leans in with inspired creations rooted in authentic Spanish flavor, prep & presentation.
Tonight was a special night the Jamonera. The annual two night Summer Tomato Tapas Dinner. Ten courses of summer tomato bluas. Combined with the 3 course cocktail & wine pairing to go with it is heaven on 10 small plates and 3 glasses.
Highlights include Heirloom Tomato Salad with Whipped Feta, Crispy Mahon Cheese, Tomato Crema Catalan with a bruleed top...yes BRULEED... and the star of this years tomato feast Plancha Seared Branzino.
The staff is attentive, efficient and charming as always... including the manager, our server, and support staff.
Be sure not to miss other Jamonera special menu offerings...Paella Nights should not be missed.

Jamonera was a really nice place for tapas! The setting is quaint and intimate. The portions are good for sharing and come out nice and fresh when ready. The beat goat cheese salad was excellent and the other apps we got were great. We shared the paella with chorizo and chicken added to it. This portion was a little smaller than expected but it was quite good. Was it the best paella I've ever had? No, but it was pretty damn good, a close second. The bar was well decorated and the drink menu was creative, they had a couple non-alcoholic options too which my wife and me had, they were quite tasty and refreshing. If you're in the mood for some authentic Spanish tapas in Philadelphia I very much recommend going to Jamonera.

What a great place. The second I walked in the door and the host greeted me I felt at home. The staff here is super friendly, laid back and attentive. The food was excellent with some very imaginative riffs on classic Spanish tapas as well as classic Spanish tapas dishes. A very well chosen and interesting wine list. I don't usually ask for advice on wine choice but when bartender Doug made a recommendation after seeing what I was Eating I'm glad I took his advice. Well trained staff and very knowledgeable. And a really nice vibe over all. 1st restaurant in the Philadelphia area that I have been able to rave about in a long time. I will be back as soon as possible.
