Stopped in for lunch and ordered lunch without reading they served TX size portions. I definitely recommend you may it a point to check this place out
My favorite stop in Colorado Springs for some great chicken wings and a cold beer. The staff is always smiling and making the experience even better. This was my very first visit to the Purple Toad. I went to hear the duo called Go Go Girlzilla, performing live outside off the patio. The evening was lovely and the band was great! And the jalapeno poppers stuffed with chicken and wrapped in bacon were fantastic! There are a lot of people there, which is probably why service was very slow to start, but once we found a waitress, she was awesome and took great care of us. I'd love to go back and try the Toad eggs, which they were out of this evening. They sound fantastic with potatoes, bacon, and cheese, panko coated and fried!
Nice place, good food, but the hot food came out not hot enough. I had to have it returned to be reheated. Otherwise, I like the place. I'd return for food and drink.
Holly Cow!!! What a place. I'm a wings connoisseur but not like my buddies. We all agreed the wings were off the hook. They are giant, cooked to perfection, and seasoned great. We tried everything from nuclear to garlic. The outlier in the group got a burger and said it was fantastic. Our server was sassy in a good way, and we enjoyed talking to her. Beer was great, food was great, price is reasonable...I may have a new favorite lunch hangout.
It's such a fun place to gather and enjoy time with your friends.

OMG! We enjoyed the onion rings which are as big as glazed donuts and deliciously done! My favorite place. Thank you for making us part of the place to be. Best Chili Burger with onion rings!
My first time. Service was very good. Food was OK. I ordered a Cuban sandwich which was not a traditional sandwich. To their credit it is hard to get a traditional Cuban outside of Florida. I will be back to try other menu items.
A little bit of a drive from Colorado Springs, but well worth it. I always enjoy their specialty drinks and flatbreads. They also have a large area to play darts and there's usually a food truck or two in the parking lot. Check it out for something new (it's a good pit stop on the way back from the Painted Mines).
Good food, good drinks, great service, Live bands and an all around source for entertainment. Darts, pool tables, and more! Great place to go!
Great staff!! I love the Purple Toad as a great neighborhood spot!! We are there weekly and the staff is ALWAYS friendly and wonderful and they all go above and beyond!! Bri, Matt, and Courtney are fabulous and so is all the rest of the staff that I see when we are there!

To our surprise, great service! We ordered wraps. The french fries were hot and the beer was cold. And it came quickly.
We've visited several times over the last 3 years with disappointment. We want to support local. So I'm happy to report a great experience.
