This is a bar first and a food place later. If you want a cold beer, and some good food then check it out. Sports is usually on the TV and they have a really nice outside patio area where you can enjoy your beer and food.
Improving. To be honest, the man and I stopped going to Frankie's Too back around 2010 after going almost every Friday evening after work. The food quality took a nosedive, the service was lackluster and the usual crowd was thinning. So...we took a long hiatus. Last week we didn't want to leave Falcon to get dinner and decided to try Frankie's since we hadn't been there for quite some time. It was a pleasant surprise. The server was phenomenal, the food was totally turned around since the years prior and there seemed to be an increase in patrons. Because of these changes, we decided to try it again tonight. We were so lucky to have the same server and the same great service. He (they don't wear nametags so I don't know his name) was phenomenal , again the food was great and the people were coming in. Hmmm.....think we may become regulars again and don't have to leave town to have a nice Friday evening ever again.
Great Food and Fun!. Just spent the day at this fun sports bar and restaurant watching the playoffs ... great specials and cold beer! Highly recommend the Slopper. Bottom Burger Bun, Angus Burger smothered in their homemade green chile and topped with cheese ... get the homemade fries with it. They have a breakfast version too ... recommend the Bloody Mary with that :0)
Love the Fish Fry. Fridays they serve THE BEST Fish Fry! Reminds me of when I was growing up and my parents took us to the Legion on Fridays back east. Three big pieces with homemade fries and cole slaw is my dinner every week.
I love this place! It has a great atmosphere were you feel comfortable and welcomed. The food it great and so is the service. I live coming here with my friends to watch football, laugh and have a good time with everyone
I ordered the Friday special – “Fish Fry Friday.” I went with the option of getting 4 pieces of shrimp, and 2 pieces of battered cod. My son ordered an Italian Bomber Sandwich, and my daughter went with a burger. The food came out surprisingly fast, and looked great.
This place was found on a Whim, but I wanted to try the raspberry Chipotle Meatballs, totally worth the trip. The meatballs were super spicy and exactly what I had thought they were going to be, I got Cajun pasta which was awesome! And the service was really good. Will be returning!
First-timers to Red's. We were greeted with a smile and Katrina was the best and knowledgeable. Katrina gave us the activity scoop and a great place for Bronco games and baseball games. Trivia on Tuesdays. Our meals were reasonable and delicious and the desert chocolate fudge cake with peanut butter frosting was wonderful! Enjoyed our visit immensely!
Red's is a great spot for a meal or just to grab drinks with friends. It has a really nice laid back atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a variety of options, from classic burgers and sandwiches to wings to entrees like NY Strip. Everything is made with fresh, quality ingredients and just the right amount of flavor. If you're looking for a great drink to pair with your meal, the bar is well-stocked with a variety of beers, wines, and cocktails. Red's is a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner. I'll definitely go back!
Red's has a good and varied menu. We had salmon cakes that were really very good. The green beans were fresh, and the greens were crisp. Had the Ceasar salad that was good also. The bone-in wings were really amazing! I wouldn't recommend the calamari as there wasn't much flavor, but it wasn't greasy at all. I had one of the new fall cocktails, I can't remember the name, but it had sour apple in it, and it was refreshing. Our server, Kayla, was very attentive and nice. The reason I gave it a 3 on atmosphere was because it was Friday night at about 6 pm, and it was rocking. We'll definitely be going back, but probably on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Was spontaneous and tried this place out. We’re so glad we did! Had the pork belly appetizer, smoked meatball hoagie, and the smoked Cajun pasta. All the flavors were on point. The service was just enough and the atmosphere was cozy. We’re looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes!
We've been to Red's several times, have never had the same thing twice and we've yet to meet something there we don't like. My personal favorites are the fish and chips, the seasoned fries and the pork belly (which is extremely rich so be warned). The staff have always been great to us and our baby. It's rare to find a place both very cozy and chill but also fun with plenty of fun to be had but Red's nails it.
Hit or miss. Sandwiches are made well, fries are plentiful but as far as other comfort food such as the chicken fried steak are lacking on the portion side. Looks more like a senior or kids plate. Load that plate with more mashed, more gravy and add a second or larger meat cut. You will get more worthy reviews! Also, check.out your dessert size as well. The cheesecake is literally such a thin slice. Add some fresh fruit, whipped cream, not just a drizzle of pop. Presentation and portions are a must. Otherwise, your flavor is great.
Great place! I went there with family, it was a Saturday night so there was live music. I got the burrito, it was fantastic, the green chili was very good. My family got the fish and chips as well as the southwest salad, all of which were awesome! We will definitely be back for more!
My husband and I were wanting to try somewhere different for a burger. Red's was a bit of a travel for us. Glad we did made the trip! We both had the wicked spicy burger and it was exactly what we were looking for. We now have a new go to burger place.
We took our mustang club and they had seating for all if us together. Great food Great people and great service we will be back with Colorado springs mustangs.
