The best. Great menu, super reasonable prices. Will become our spot to stop! Pics of deviled eggs, green fried tomatoes, beef tips and rice, salmon croquettes, mashed potatoes and okra. Gravy was extra good. True southern cooking.

This 1800's home turned charming restaurant is nestled in downtown Perry on a quaint street. In true southern charm with white tablecloths and decor to match with modern touches! The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is amazing! Specially drinks are refreshingly good. The tiny biscuits are yummy! The tablecloths give it an elevated feel but the attire is casual with laid back atmosphere. You must go and enjoy! Thank you for an awesome experience!

The Swanson is a well-known institution in MIddle Georgia serving up Southern favorites and hometown hospitality. Often you'll overhear other patrons sharing that this is an intentional stop off the interstate traveling to or from Florida for their world-famous biscuits and fried green tomatoes. We are truly blessed to have this gem in our community. Always a treat!

Fun historical restaurant in Perry Ga with good help and smiling faces. We had the prime rib and the chicken and dumplings. I have never had chicken and dumplings that light before. If you like doughy dumplings stay away. Also worth mentioning was the collard green soup and fried green tomatoes. Very tasty. The great bread pudding was the perfect ending to a pleasurable evening.

Flights For Food brought us to our home town local restaurant for lunch. Great place that we will tell all pilots to come fly to Perry and visit The Swanson.

Amazing! We were so full. The food tasted amazing. I ordered the chicken fried steak with a side of okra. The gravy was delicious and the breading was perfect. My step dad ordered the fish and got 3 large pieces of fish. My mom ordered the burger and said it was one of the best she has had. The menu prices are so good for the portion sizes! Friendly staff and really cute building. I def recommend! So hungry I forgot to take a photo.
