Never had a bad experience. The food and staff are amazing and along with the restaurant, will be dearly missed. Rest in peace, Robert Patterson, who was the owner of this wonderful restaurant. Thank you and the rest of the staff for all the delicious meals and great times

We’d had this recommended by several people ,so we tried it and we’re GLAD we did! The seafood chowder was a hit with my husband and I had the tuna salad plate . Food was fresh and flavorful (nice portion sizes) , very ,very good ! Staff was friendly and attentive . Price was reasonable . Atmosphere was nice. We LOVED that the music wasn’t blaring like in a lot of places . It was a pleasant dining experience and we’ll be back! :)

Had a nice meal, everything was well done and the service was good. The desserts were amazing, still thinking about the caramelized droplets of sugar on the meringue! Overall a very good first impression! Several others had recommended it to me and now I know why! The price was less than I expected for the three-course meal for two as well.

Stopped in and had lunch while visiting Eastport for the annual Pirate festival. The food was great! The service was fast and the waitress was friendly. I was surprised at the large serving size of our meals compared to the price. We definitely got our money's worth plus some.
If passing through I would recommend the New Friendly Restaurant.

We stopped on on our return trip home up 1 North on our bikes. Friendly service, home made cooking, old school restaurant/diner feel. Our meals were very good. Totally hit the spot! P.S. we are sorry we brought all that water into the restaurant from our completely soaked motorcycle gear!

We stopped in for an early to go dinner. We really enjoyed the fried platter with haddock and scallops. Tip: order extra tartar sauce and park at nearby Gleason Cove for a lovely experience.

Amazing food, better people!! Even when two jerks walk in at 5 to close, the chef didn't bat an eye. Made sure we had everything we needed. Will always support these amazing hard working people! ♥

Be still my southern heart. Born and raised Georgian who has been traveling through New England all summer, and this was the best fried chicken/home cooking I have had in months. Thank you to whomever cooked this. Highly recommended. Food was fresh and cooked with love. We will be back!

Great little diner. Super friendly staff. They take reservations and have everything from grilled cheese, poutine, veggie burgers, fried chicken and fresh cut fries. Don't miss it if your in the area.
