I remember visiting this place very often when I was a student. Back then, the price was okay and the quantity was wood. Now, I feel for the price you pay you get very less quality. Also you don't get the fresh pita here. The flavors are good. You get the best pilaf rice. Overall tastes good but a bit pricey.

It’s been a while I visited this place but a recent visit by my friend reminded me to drop in this review. This place is truly amazing. The warmth of the people who run this place, the amazing quality and tasty food just leaves a lasting memory which will make you keep coming back. Do not go by the looks of this place.

This place is a hidden gem. It's not often you get authentic Middle Eastern food. Typically I'm skeptical about trying new foods but when you walk in the amazing smells smack you in the face. At that point, you have to try something. The first time going I was recommended the Beef Shawarma 😋 whenever I get my hair done, I try to grab a plate.

Came from out of town looking for a place to get takeout on Christmas day and we found this little gem. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly and the food was SO fresh and delicious! The kebab portion was very tender and juicy and the rice was flavorful without overpowering the marinade of the chicken. The chicken tenders and fries for our toddlers was a generous portion and cooked just perfectly to be crispy but not overdone. My kids are usually picky, but they cleaned their plates today! My only wish would be for pita that is a little fluffier, but that's definitely just my preference and it was still very good with the dipping sauces and hummus. Will absolutely be back next time we're in town!!

Jerusalem Restaurant is a hidden gem! I was visiting Peoria from Bloomington and wanted to try a new restaurant and decided on this place for Mediterranean.
I ordered a chicken shawarma sandwich with a side of falafel. Everything was delicious, prices were fair, and the staff were very friendly! Next time I'm in Peoria I'll be making a stop by!

After missing mediterranean food we tried this place and it did not disappoint. The lamb shank was tasty & the falafel was good as well. Serving portions were generous 😋😋👍🏻 The 40 min drive from Bloomington was worth it 👍🏻

We came to this Mediterranean restaurant for lunch with our friends. The food here is very tasty especially cooked rice. It was so tasty. The hummus, salad and rice and meat on the plate were very soft and juicy. The lamp chunks, shawarma, mixed kabobs, lamb chops were all so awesome. We loved everything and ate well. We have been to this place a lot of times but have never eaten here. This time we did not miss. Ideal place to dine with friends. The food quantity and price were good. There is a large parking lot here. You can even park trucks.
