A bar from the good old days. Very fun crowd, not too cliquish. The freedom to smoke inside was a wonderful thing. Not a restrictive environment at all. Just come and do your thing!

I love this place, is it perfect? No, is it elegant? No but it IS fun, cozy, and excepting of ALL types of genders and identifications. I visit here on average of 2 nights a week fully dressed (CD) and have never felt out of place, disrespected or not welcome. What I love is everyone seems to respect everyone weather they are their “type” or not. The drag shows are amazing for a small town place and draw a pretty good crowd. Best $5 of entertainment in Pensacola! Monthly theme nights are a blast! See picture and the second Saturday’s are Leather and Denim night followed by the Live DJ night, rarely miss. The drink prices are standard and 90% of the time- made right and strong, the way they should be. Bar staff “bust their Azz” to keep up with the crowd. The Operations crew are effective and tireless to get the job done. Not to mention funny and accommodating. The outside deck is cozy and intimate lighted. Bottom line is everyone from the Bear masculine to the Crossdressed Fem will enjoy what I call my home away from home. If only they played more 80s and 90s music. The viewed average crowd age would match it. Take one of those unused Saturdays a month (last one for example) and make it a “Retro night” 80s etc. I’m betting when the word got out it would be a popular attraction.
The Roundup is ABSOLUTELY THE BESTICLES!!!! THE MOST AMAZING HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST I'VE EVER WITNESSED!!!! ABSOLUTELY, POSITIVELY, MOST DEFINITELY THE MOST FUN OF ALL TIME I'VE EVERRRRR HAD IN ANY BAR N I'M 40!!!!! The atmosphere is magnetic, the people are very friendly and welcoming, beautiful people and 2 good pool tables to boot! I'll be back 10000000 out of 10 is their score from a 1-10!!!! THANK YOU ROUNDUP FOR AN AMAZING EVENING FILLED WITH LAUGHTER AND JOY, BEAUTIFUL COSTUMES AND AN ALL AROUND WONDERFUL TIME!!!!!
The RoundUp has been a great place to meet up with old friends or make new ones ever since I moved to Pensacola in 1986. The new one has a great layout where you can be in the middle of everything or get a semi quiet corner to yourself. Excellent crowd mix and superb staff too! Bars come and go but this one has achieved icon status for a reason.
I love this club. The atmosphere is welcoming and inclusive. The bartenders are friendly. I especially like Mike. He always takes the time to say hello even when he is really busy. The patrons are all nice people. There is never any trouble here. I love the drag shows and the pageants. This is a really great club. Definitely recommend
FANTASTIC! Drag bingo was SO much fun, hanging out with my boyfriend and his cousin and was able to catch the drag show! The bartenders on Feb 24 were amazing! Everyone in the place was awesome. Seriously I’ll have to make it a stop when I come out here again!
The Roundup is one of the best places to drink and see a drag show in town, I have never felt more accepted, and more love in one place. It’s really like one big family here, not to mention the drink prices, the bartenders, and the customers are all so great. Drag Bingo on Fridays is a blast with Monica!
Very diverse people there. You can be yourself there. Chill people chill place. Not to preppy like another bar I won't mention. Had a bad experience last night at said unmentionable bar. So upsetting. Will be coming back to roundup again. Bye to the other bar forever until they change which I highly doubt they won't. The owner of that bar was so rude to me. Forget that person

It has great atmosphere and the friendliest staff in town.
The Wednesday night and weekend drag shows are popular and usually well attended, in fact, a couple I went to were downright crowded.
While maybe not important for many, the fact that I can have a cigarette with my beer was THE deciding factor in my choice of The Roundup as my favorite bar in town.
Pretty fun to go enjoyed the drinks...
