Two friends and i were just there for brunch and it was amazing! We had shrimp and grits and crab cake benedict and both were delicious!! Our server, dylan, took the best care of us and kept the bottomless mimosas coming! I can't recommend it enough!

Awesome place! Killer cocktails. Great food. A sweet penny-top bar and beautiful patio with lawn games. I love this place! So happy they finally opened a location in downtown Pensacola.

Ate lunch here on a Thursday. We were seated right away and Harry was out server, he was very good. My wife had the Southern Comfort Chicken Salad Sandwich and I ate Shrimp Tacos. Our food came out fast and we both enjoyed our lunch.

Went for the bottomless mimosas. Liked the look of the new establishment. The two seats near the door seem kinda out of place The bacon oysters were good as were the creole omelet Not sure I'll go back but if you're in the area it's worth a try

Oyster was not fresh as we thought it would be. Tasted like they shucked and stored in the refrigerator for a while because of the surface was bit dry and juice were none.. But the Shrimp and grits were great!

The new location has come such a long way. I've been a few times since they first took over the building and keep going back. I love the cocktails (french 75 and lavender mule are must tries), the blue crab flatbread, shrimp and grits, oysters, all delicious! My seven year old loves the spinach artichoke dip and the burgers, and he's not easy to please! So excited for fall weather so we can sit outside on the patio and enjoy the water view. Service is always great (we sat in Mel's section this past visit, and she was super sweet and helpful). Definitely one of my favorite places for date night or to take my kiddos!

Came for appetizers after going to an event at the fairgrounds. We wanted to try the blue crab flatbread. It was decent although probably could have had more balsamic reduction on it. Was it had a little bit deeper flavor, still was pretty good though. The blue cheese fries were good as well.

Came here for brunch. The bottomless mimosas were on point and the food was great. The Brussel sprouts was my favorite appetizer. We also got the scallop and tuna dip, which was good too. For my entree, I got the shrimp and grits. I never had that before and it was satisfying. As basic as shrimp is, it stood out to me the most. Service, ambiance, and the view was on point and made a great Saturday morning. I would highly recommend to friends and family. I look forward to coming here for dinner.

Great views, great cocktails, great location! Came recently for brunch...I got the shrimp and grits, my friend got the crab cake benedict, and we split the loaded brussels. So yummy!

Service was impeccable. The outdoor dining area can’t be beat for the atmosphere. Great place to stop before heading over to the Beaches or to escape the tourism there. Lovely view of the bridge. I’d recommend the Brussels for an appetizer and the Shrimp/Grits for a meal.

Wonderful view and even more delicious food! The Chicken and Waffles were uniquely presented with spicy honey. The breakfast oysters were served beautifully and tasted even more amazing. That was my first time having oysters. Highly recommend! The Shrimp and Grits was a nice twist with blue grits and were definitely worth every penny!

This is closer to a three star review but I rounded up. This is our second attempt at the “new” south market after not being thoroughly impressed the first time. But I like the view so we tried again. Much like everything, inflation has hit the south market menu hard. The difference between this and restaurants of similar price points is that you don’t feel you’re getting your money’s worth at South market. Pictured is a creole omelette. The omelette itself was pretty good. But the potatoes were trash, and that’s where they should go. I’d be embarrassed to serve that in my own home. This photo is only a couple of bites in with just a few potatoes missing. Presentation just simply looks like they don’t care. This place has the potential to be great. But right now it seems content serving mediocrity. Unfortunately our last visit for a while.
