Great place to grab a coffee and a baked good. Friendly service in a clean environment. Free wifi and outside dining. Nice coffee shop in Downtown Pensacola. Recommended.
Quaint bistro like place. Right downtown on palafox, i've been wanting to go here for some time now, but it's difficult with the odd hours it's open. made if for lunch just before they closed. soy latte, with spinach quiche and macaroni and cheese... where else can you get this combination?! quiche was flavorful with its spices, mac n cheese had some awesome cheeses in it, and the coffee was fantastic. oh and price was really affordable. if i find myself downtown around lunch, you can be sure i'll be back again!
I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and boy am I glad I did!! I got the groupon deal to try it out. This place is wonderful. Lets start with the quaint atmosphere. The place is decorated so adorably, almost like a French bistro. Very brightly lit and fun. I tried a sandwich on a croissant with the Greek pasta salad. Both were amazing. The food was very flavorful and fresh. And I got several deserts to go to eat later. The macaroons are awesome!! As well as the eclairs. I don't have a single negative thing to say about this place. If you love good food, quality deserts for a vale price then you will love this place. Overall great food, fun atmosphere, and good service. I can't wait to go back!!

Fantabulous Wedding Cake!. I live in TX and was planning a destination wedding in Florida going off ratings alone. I had everything all planned out and then changed my mind on my cake 6 weeks before the wedding. Needless to say I had to rush to find a new bakery last minute. When I called Adonna's Bakery Ft Walton (now closed and moved to the Destin location), Serena was so helpful and was able to fit me into their busy schedule. Not only did they fit me in, she also made it possible for me to have the wonderful cake tasting and not have to order my cake blind. We scheduled a cake tasting 3 days before the wedding and made our last minute decorating wishes and finishing touches. They delivered and set up our beautiful beach themed wedding cake and it was super yummy! Moist and had a great flavor!
It has now been almost 1 year since our beautiful wedding day...my husband and I are going back to Florida to celebrate our one year anniversary in a few weeks and we are so looking forward to another Adonna's Bakery cake. I scheduled with Serena to have an anniversary cake made; they are creating a replica of our wedding cake topper at a very reasonable price. We cant wait!
Again...Serena was great! She made it very easy to make my last minute cake change as well as ordering our anniversary cake! I had to talk to a few other ladies in the bakery who were also nice and helpful on a few days when Serena was out.
I defiantly recommend Adonna's Bakery to do any cake you need!
Favorite Place in Pensacola. My friends and I love this bakery !It reminds us of our childhood .The staff is always friendly and we love to try the cheesecakes and whatever special they have that day!
I absolutely loved the breakfast. We had breakfast croissants and the french toast... And we were scoping out the menu so we could come back for lunch. Awesome diner :)
Dutch Apple. I've been craving good apple pie, so I begged my husband to go there w me after a downtown dinner, and voila - there it was, delicious, warm, served a la mode w some great decaf. We even brought a chocolate cream cheese pastry home, and I can't wait to sneak a bite. Loved the beautiful china they served our food on - a lovely place. Planning to ask for a chocolate ganache cake from there for my 50th Bday!

Very Nice Cafe'. I have been to Adonna's Bakery in Pensacola, fl and Fort Walton Beach, FL. Both places were very nice. I have enjoyed it everytime I have been. I have talked to some of the staff memebers and I recently have gotten to talk to the owner, she was very nice and you could tell that she works very hard to keep her business running. She also told me that it was a family business and that it has been around for about 50 years. There cakes are amazing, they smooth out their buttercream so well that you can barely tell the difference between fondant and buttercream. Back to the cake, it is absolutley delicious; so moist and smooth and have amazing flavors. They can pretty much do any flavor that you want. I also got to see pictures of some of the customized cakes and they are remarkable. The food at breakfast and lunch tasted really good. You can tell that everything is homemade and that they really try hard to please everyone. The bakery has pasteries that are amazing. I can go in one day and get a turnover and go in the next and get a lemon bar. Everything changes out and a new dessert is made and put in. Well that is enough about this place. I LOVE IT!! and everyone has to try it! :)
The deli is also pretty fabulous. I passed Adonna's just before the Mardi Gras parade, and I decided to stop in because I was starving. The roast beef sandwich I had was amazing... the croissant was soft & buttery & tasted fresh, plus the beef was nice & rare without being bloody. And the sauce on it was pretty killer; I dipped my chips in the little bits that fell off & stuffed the sandwich with them. Also, the cake ball I got for dessert was an original and creative offering. I'm planning on stopping in for some more treats soon!
As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by the nice ladies inside that make you feel welcome. It was my first time here and will not be my last! The piece of cake that I had was DELICIOUS! My favorite part was the atmosphere and the excellent customer service provided. I will highly recommend this place to anyone!

My friend Kim and I wanted to have a pre Mother's Day lunch and decided on Adonna's. What a beautiful setting, a gorgeous home with a big beautiful porch, with perfect weather to boot. We were seated and I ordered the mimosa flight. It's a sampler of 4 different flavored mimosas, a perfect start to lunch. My friend ordered the blueberry lemonade and she really enjoyed it. I ordered the Strawberry Fields salad, but there was a little mix-up, and the salad I received had no strawberries. But the cook returned with some on the side and my salad was delicious. I added roasted chicken to my salad and I was really happy with the flavors. The dried cranberries added a sweet/tart taste along with apples and feta and the vinaigrette was the perfect touch. My friend ordered the Panhandle Panini with turkey breast, bacon, tomatoes and cheese, she really enjoyed it. She ate it soo quickly that I didn't get a picture. For a sweet treat I decided to try a cannoli. I had one before at another restaurant and it was soo sweet that I could not eat it. The one at Adonna's was delicious, sweet but not overly sweet. And the pistachios were a wonderful addition. I would definitely return to Adonna's, next time I'm taking my mom.
Incredibly Satisfying Breakfast!
The Everything Bowl with Grits... is everything: Seriously, Yum. It was seasoned wonderfully, and had a little meat, a little veggie, eggs, grits, and potatoes (and was filling enough for breakfast and lunch).
Adonna's is relaxing and beautifully decorated. Very much like an English Tea House.
To top it off, the Butterbeer Latte was pure magic (no wand necessary.)
Will definitely visit again. ☕
I love brunch outside on the patio. The cotton candy drink is phenomenal! Also, the chef is very caring and sweet. She makes sure to accommodate your needs. The food and sweet treats are delicious.
I attended the Hocus Pocus brunch earlier today with a party of 7. Since we had reservations, we were sat immediately. The cafe itself was decorated very nicely and you could tell a lot of effort was put in to the decor and overall theme. We ordered the biscuit appetizer and it was tasty. I also had one of the iced vanilla lattes and I thought it was quite good. I ordered the garden hash as my main and it was simple but very good. However, not everyone in our party received their food at the same time. Our waitress was sweet, but she did seem pretty overwhelmed. Some people in my party had some issues with their food/service, but personally I had no complaints. After we paid, we noticed that we must have been charged a gratuity. We only wished that this would have been communicated to us prior. Overall, I would definitely be willing to come back and try Adonnna’s again!
Liked it but I wouldn’t return due to the parking lot. 3 of the 5 people who came to our party scraped the bottom of their cars getting into the lot, and any lower car would have had a huge issue. My sister also got into a fender bender due to the state of the parking lot. It needs to be scaled down so people can safely get in and out.
We stopped here this morning for breakfast and coffee and were very impressed. You can tell that the food is made with care and effort—which requires time for the staff to prepare, not just throw a sandwich in the microwave like you would get it Starbucks. Coffee and breakfast sandwiches were delicious, and the service was excellent and friendly, despite what other recent, needlessly negative reviews may claim. Love the atmosphere and if I’m ever in Pensacola again I would definitely go back!

This is an adorable place. The bakery items will make you gain 5 pounds just deciding what to get, lol. We had breakfast, a standard eggs platter. Asked for eggs over medium and expected a runny yolk but it was not. We also had the croissant eggs, ham and cheddar. It was huge and the croissant like you rarely find them, flakey, light and buttery. Prices reasonable. Will be back to try lunch!
My daughter and I discovered this cafe when we moved downtown for a few months. It quickly became my daughter’s favorite place. Vivian was always so wonderful to us. Everything is so delicious and we will miss visiting as often as we did.
