One of our favorite Italian restaurants in the north shore. It can get pretty busy and the service does get slower especially when they open up the patio. But the food is always great so it’s worth the wait.
I want to thank Marco for seating our group of 5 without a reservation! We did wait a little while for our waiter to make it to us, but they were really busy and those guys did not stop. It was worth the wait! Also, I can say without a doubt some of the most amazing food and drink( not just Italian!) I have ever put in my mouth. I cannot do justice to this culinary experience in this description box. I wish I lived in Boston, but then again, I would get so fat!
Amazing Italian food with a nice modern atmosphere. Make sure to get reservations if it’s a weekend as it’s not a huge location and they fill up ! Their aranchinis are delicious and crispy (make sure to ask for extra sauce as it’s delicious). I got this chicken broccoli and fussili and it was a 10/10. Filled with flavor and perfectly cooked pasta with amazing chicken and broccoli. You definitely need to ask for more bread to clean the plate once you finish. The creme brûlée for dessert was also amazing and full of flavor. Will be back !
Marcos is an outstanding Italian cuisine without the hassle of driving to North End Boston.
The meals were delicious with huge portions at a valuable price !
Service is great here with waiters being kind and speedy and keeping us fed quickly with quality dishes!
Highly Recommend Dishes: Chicken Parmesan and the Veal Parmesan is absolutely delicious as well with a tender meat, lots of cheese, and homemade pasta!!

Italian food at its best. With its intimate size it allows them to focus on the several plates at hand rather than trying to pump out tons of tables at once. Smart choice! There is such attention to detail and every bit of food they'll put out, masters!
I was with a party of 6 and got to try 5 of their dishes as well as my own. Each and everyone of them blew me away.
The chicken milanse was my favorite, bright cherry tomatoes, arugula, lemon sauce and a breaded piece of chicken that was easily over 12 inches. Their meatballs ( I've never liked a restaurant meatball in the past) were completely moist and full of flavor. Pasta alla fongale ( baby clam sauce over linguine) was perfectly seasoned, many restaurants add far too much garlic to this dish and overwhelm it, and disguise the natural clam flavor. Marcos has the best balance I've ever had at an establishment.
The waitstaff were pleasant, observsnt and accommodating. Drinks were priced fairly and inline with other alcohol offerings in the area. Terrific wine selection also.

Portions are huge. My wife got the chick parm, ate half, and this pic is the other half I ate for lunch today.
I don't order it myself as there are so many other good things on the menu, and I want to try them all, then I can have her leftovers the next day.
I liked the way they do their risotto, and that's one of the dishes I ordered because it's work to make a really good risotto and not something I'll do at home. Same thing with their carbonara - very good and not something I do at home. Every meal from there has been good.
We just happened upon this place when we were staying at the Homewood Suites next door to it. We were just looking for a quick bite for a late lunch on a Friday afternoon. We ordered paninis, and they were delicious! The staff was so nice and accommodating, even after we told them that we were in a hurry. And then, I accidentally left my purse there, and they took care of it until I could get back there to retrieve it, just before they closed. I would love to go there again when we have more time to try their dinner menu.
