I hadn't eaten here in a while because the food had gone downhill. But under new management/chef, things have really turned around. Our food was very good. The Maryland crab soup was fresh, tasty, and loaded with meat. The fried pickles were really good and I am a fried pickle snob. The crab stuffed avocado was fantastic! The steamed crabs were perfect!!!! We didn't have a lot of regular menu items because we were eating crabs, but everything that we had was great! Even their draft beer menu is very good! Give this place another chance! We will be going back next week!
Great restaurant/ bar that I always make it a point to stop in for a refreshing cocktail. So far, the crabs I have gotten there were Awesome! Bartenders make you feel welcome. Worth stopping by for a bite to eat and Please, try their hot steamed Maryland Crabs.
We went there on Tuesday Aug 28. 2018 the crabs were good and they had the half price special. Everything was good. But when you check out at the bottom of your receipt they give you a suggestion for your tip do not follow their suggestions. That is way off . They suggest way to much for a tip. Their 15 ,20 and 20% is way to High for the amount on your bill. So just check your bill and tip according to your bill.
AYCE crabs w/super fresh salad bar. $29 pp. Beautiful, waterfront setting. Sierra was our waitress. We were there for a few hours eating crabs & she never missed a beat. Crabs were delicious . . . perfectly cooked & perfectly seasoned. The band & beautiful sunshine was an extra-added bonus. Can't wait to go back.
The staff showed genuine friendliness and great attentive service. Host was a bit unorganized but I think she was new. Food was excellent. We had crab dip, hot wings, and their signature spinach chicken salad. Salad was unique and the other two we're very tasty and we'll prepared. We got there at 9pm on a nice summer Saturday evening and they were probably only 10 to 25% of their max capacity which must be near 200. This is a surprisingly big spread out restaurant with a lot of different teams but definitely has a laid-back Marina atmosphere. Will definitely come back.
