I grew up in New Jersey. Our annual summer treks 'down the shore' to Seaside Heights for our family vacations included steamed clams, corn on the cob, saltwater taffy, and submarine sandwiches. Three 'subs' cut in half could feed a family of six. In Seaside we'd walk over to Sam's Subs, and if we were in Point Pleasant, you went to Mike's.
I arrived in Palm Springs and left my iPhone charger at home. As I pulled into the Best Buy parking lot, I saw Jersey Mike's out of the corner of my eye. I was feeling nostalgic and thought "I have to try Jersey Mike's" in Palm Desert, California.
I had the #13 Original Italian (Regular Size) and I was transported back to the Jersey Shore. What sets the submarine sandwiches from New Jersey apart from everywhere else is the seasoning and the secret sauce (vinaigrette). From the bread to the trimmings and the deli meats, Jersey Mike's gets it right. I loved it and will be back again. If you see a bad review, it's likely due to not liking the flavor profile of a Jersey Sub. If you don't like vinegar, you won't like the sub. It's that simple.
Jersey Mike's is 100 times better than Subway. No green unripe tomatoes here. This is what a sub sandwich is supposed to taste like. For a taste of the garden state - you gotta check out Jersey Mike's in Palm Desert.
First time at this Jersey Mike's ... It's amazing how they are so consistent no matter where.. ULES and ALI hooked me and my son up!!! Will be back for sure..
Actually 4.5 STARS for service and fast delicious subs. They offer all subs "Mike's Way," shredded lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil, dried herb mix and black pepper or you can add your own toppings. The deli meats are sliced to order and not pre cut and weighted like Subways although Subway does offer more selections. Higher quality ingredients with grilled hot Phillies and meats offered in different combinations make Jersey Mike's one of the better chain market Sub Sandwich Shops available. Subs are offered in mini, regular and extra large sizes. Keep in mind, the XL can fill 2 appetites with satisfaction. Always worth a visit.

Great subs! Super fast and friendly service! My sub had bacon which was super tasty with an excellent crunch to it! I really enjoyed my visit to this shop. The staff seem genuinely happy to be there and serve you. The sandwiches had quality ingredients. All for a very reasonable price! I'll definitely be back! One thing to mention, it's a little hidden from traffic. Located in the target plaza next to lens crafts, if that helps!
Guys were polite as s**t! They also followed all food saftey pratices I could think of being a former GM of a food establisment myself. Order was made to a t and tasted excellent as it should for the price. Tip of the cap guys!!!
OMG. Loved this place. This is Darrell, Connie's better half. Recently tried a sub from you. Thought I was going to die, it was sooo good. Best Sub out there.
