While visiting Palm Desert from Phoenix, we enjoy eating at Grill-A-Burger. Plenty of onsite parking. Terrific selection of burgers and hot dogs in the menu. If you don't see what specific ones on the menu; they can create a burger just for your likes. Our server Michael was extremely helpful in assisting us with what peific burger we wanted. Service was excellent. Place gets very crowded around noon time. we went after lunch hour.s. Highly recommend this establishment.

Devil's Revenge burger was great, just enough heat without being over the top and the jalapeño cheese bun was a nice touch. The avocado fries were delicious especially with the lime dip, but a bit too much avocado for one sitting, definitely plan to share.

Everything was great. Would of actually like for our server to checked up on us. The bus boy did and he did a great job. He was very pleasant and cheerful. The food was awesome! Definitely it's a go to for gourmet burgers!

Solid Burger Joint! Brought the guys here for lunch, while vacationing in Palm Springs. Looks like this place gets a lot of pub due to being on DDD. Being a burger aficionado I had to go. Extensive menu! Too many choices in my opinion and because of that I decide to stay conservative and get the #3 bacon me crazy. Good size, patty well done but it seemed too plain with the toppings I got (lettuce, tomato, onion and bacon.) I feel it should of had more bacon. Next time I would go for something more exotic that’s not a classic. Burger is big and I was able to share it comfortably with another person. Friend got the #17 Ricky Ricardo burger and that was a good exotic burger with good toppings and it had some nice heat with the jalapeños and spicy cheese and bread. Also got the Kansas City Ruben hot dog with sauerkraut and cheese and onions. Hot dog was solid, and big. Took the cheese off mine since it was a huge glob. Onions rings were beer battered and were quite delicious. Garlic fries were also superb. The hazy beer washed everything down nicely and it was a great addition to the meal. Also ordered the fried avocado fries and it was decent with its coating. Not a big fan of warm avocado but it was a good starter. The guys enjoyed it and I would come here again but I would go with an item that has more toppings.

I love the tiki vibe here but it ain’t tiki. They don’t serve alcohol, only beer and wine. But you come here for the burgers. It’s a little pricey but it’s always busy and the burgers are good but they only cook well…not a fan of that. Secondly, the are substantial but the mini burger menu is the way to go for smaller bites or to mix and match. Last, they know fries. In fact, there a whole page of weird concoctions so you can make a whole meal just out of that. And Guy approves so…

We've been looking for a good burger in the Coachella Valley. We found a gem. Excellent burgers Generous portions. Nice employees. I kind of enjoyed the casual atmosphere. No frills decor. Just excellent food and service. Will definitely return.

After a recommendation from a local hotel staff and hearing Guy Fieri visited the restaurant, we decided we would check out the hype. Service was friendly and we were quickly seated with drink orders taken. The root beer floats were good and the strawberry milkshake thick and tasty. The extra pop and shake from the mixing were brought to the table which was a very nice touch. We all ordered different burgers. There are a lot to chose from and most with unique topping pairings. The group consensus was that the burgers were a solid 7.5 out of 10. Unfortunately the buns didn’t hold up to the amount of sauces and juices which made it a little harder to eat and keep everything together. The burgers were a good size and the ingredients were fresh. We ordered a large garlic fry to share. We love garlic but even for us it was way too much. It tasted like bitter jarred garlic rather than fresh cut. I would not rate these high. Serving them in a cone shaped platter made it nearly impossible to remove any of the garlic. We couldn’t manage to complete even half of them and that was only because we wanted to be polite. Having said that, I could tell the regular fries would have been very good. I’m sure some people may enjoy those fries and perhaps it’s just not for us. Although we recently had some garlic fries in Santa Monica which were excellent. The atmosphere was very nice and the ambiance pleasant. Solid food. Can’t take that away.

This was probably the most expensive burger I have ever had but it was delicious and I did not have to eat supper that night and was still full the next morning. The burgers are a-la-carte so you have to order sides separately. Go for the half-and-half of onion rings and fries. The fries were among the top 5 fries I have ever eaten. The onion rings were also excellent and not greasy. We got chipotle mayo with the onion rings and it was so delicious and enough to dip for the order. We had the #19 Avocado BLT Burger and the #9 Pancho Villa. I added ketchup and mustard to #19 but it didn’t need it. It was a very savoury burger where you enjoy each huge bite. It was delicious!! The Pancho Villa was good and savoury as well. It’s not as spicy as it says it is on the menu. The atmosphere gets a 4 because there was no ambient music playing so the silence was awkward and they kind of messed up some of the designed walls by placing posters with tacks on it. They obviously spent money having the place designed and having the posters took away from the professional look of the place. The service was good- no complaints. I can’t wait to go back.
