This was a wonderful find. After going to Olive Garden and finding out the wait was 2 1/2 hours we looked on Yelp and found this place . Family run and let me tell you they are doing it right. The wait staff was spot on and Johnny on the spot with everything. The food was some of the best I have ever had at an Italian restaurant and I have been to Italy . Can’t say enough just a wonderful place and we will be back.
Mimmo's restaurant and bar in Palm desert is the restaurant families dream about going to. It is an incredibly delicious experience from osso bucci to veal scallapini to sand dabs to award-worthy pasta and meatballs and so much more. We just can't make ourselves dine anywhere else in the Coachella valley when our taste buds are ready to return to dining paradise. Excellent service too A+++!!
The bartender was phenomenal. Lalo knew all the drinks known to man and how to make them he even made his own blend that my husband enjoyed very much.
Food was fabulously delicious. The homemade pesto sauce and bread, the mushroom sauce on the veal chop and the calamari were amazing. It was our first time there and will be making it a regular visit. Thank you
Excellent service and food was delicious. The best linguine with clams in white wine sauce. Eggplant Parmesan was also great. Fine dining experience in cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I think I walked in through the wrong entrance. However, I was still greeted with kindness and wasn't told where the entrance is. I was seated right away amd greeted by my waiter right away as well. I am happy with the service. I do like the ambient atmosphere. The outside patio is completely enclosed, however I was seated inside, which I prefer since it is winter and very cold outside.
For appetizer, I had the Mediterranean salad- it was great! I finished it. It's on the sweeter side and it had pickled red onions. I'm use to eating it with regular red onions, which I love, however, this salad was exceptionally good.
They brought me a complimentary bread with olives on olive oil. Which to me was tasty.
I had the seafood Linguini all'Isolana with red sauce. For me it had a good balance of taste, but of course I like to add a sprinkle of black pepper with a few bites.( really, you do not need to) However, with or without adding anything to it, I recommend you try it if you like pasta with seafood. I love seafood. Yes, I finished my meal. Cleaned my plate completely.😊
I had 2 glasses of red wine that went well with my dinner. I am satisfied.
Shawn was wonderful. As well as all the other staff that tended to me. Thank you for an amazing staff. I chose your restaurant because I was craving seafood with pasta and I'm happy to have chosen to try your restaurant. This may be my first visit, definitely not my last. Traditional Italian restaurant, great services, large and comfortable facility. We enjoyed the bean soup and the burrata salad. The steak was unfortunately, not impressive, lacked flavor. The seafood pasta was reasonably good.
Nice surprise! Service was outstanding. VERY knowledgeable waiter, confident and attentive. Had their homemade pasta which was very fresh. Burrata salad melted in my mouth. Not rushed and not too slow. Prices not outrageous for this area. Found new Italian spot.
Very good food, and honestly the best Italian I've had in the area so far.
Been here twice now, we had the same waiter both times and he really understands the menu. You can tell he really enjoys the food they serve, it shows in the way he describes the dishes and specials.

We came on a Friday night and definitely recommend making reservations before hand. The restaurant was packed and service was a bit slow. However, food was delicious and portion size was just right.
Excellent!! We sat on the patio and had a great meal. Shared the burrata and tomato salad with balsamic. It was very tasty. Cheese was super fresh and the tomatoes had tons of flavor. I have the crab ravioli with vodka sauce. Super yummy!! Finished with the cream brulee and profiteroles...both very delicious!!!

Shared poached spiced pear in wine with vanilla bean Gelato the perfect ending
I am a Master Le Cordon Bleu Chef and rarely do I have such a perfect meal out
This is one of those occasions.
Staff kind and professional
Music perfect because alot of people and the sound was loud enough and type of music was perfect for fine dining that it soften the sound
And of course the food was so good we just didn't care
Large inside different rooms.
So I say don't hesitate call make your reservation and have a wonderful dinning experience at Mimmo's Italian restaurant
