What a fantastic place. It was such a surprise finding this gem. We stopped by with my son to get some food and the place blew our minds. It is very original and fun. There are so many things to look at. It has hundreds of different cameras on display and there are very interesting pictures on the walls of sport stars and local sport teams. The place was super clean and friendly.
We did wait a bit for our food but we were kept busy by the many interesting things all around. The food was great. I love a good hot dog and my son also enjoyed his burger. We came back again few weeks later. Highly recommend it for good American food.
A staple of the Palatine community, Photos just keeps serving up hits. Absolutely delicious Chicken Pita sandwich on top of other delectable items. If you're hungry, you won't be disappointed
This is a very interesting restaurant....they have cameras photos from different eras all around the restaurant. They are a bit pricey, but the food and service was great. We had gyros and cheese fries. We well definitely go again.

As a 90’s child, I always dreamt of a place where I could take a lady for a great burger and a delicious milkshake. Well, I believe that I finally found it because this spot has been my weekly date night location thanks to their delicious food, amount of options, and reasonable prices. I would strongly recommend this spot to everyone in the Palatine area.
Owner Jim P. has this uncanny ability to make eating fast food a real experience. Fun place filled with great customer and pleasant helpful employees.
Suppor your local restaurants. They may be all you have to visit. Eat local!
Love the $5 Maxwell St. Polish on Friday. Chilli cheese dogs rule too.
I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries this time around. I have also tried the milkshakes and the gyros and have yet to be disappointed with the food. Great food and prices. Not to mention you get a free mini ice cream cone after eating(or while waiting). Also love the pictures hanging up and the assortment of cameras all over the place. Everyone at Photo's is smiling and make it have a small town kinda vibe.
I have been a Photos customer since we moved here to P'ville almost 20 years ago and we were very regular customers for about 10 years when I new Jim, the owner, on a first name basis.
I would recommend Photo's to anyone looking for great "Chicago-style" food in the Palatine or Mt. Prospect area.
